just google it. go to ask.com and type in what percent of married people cheat. while the statistics vary, i've yet to find even one that has higher percent for women! don't get me wrong, women are catching up, and in either case it's a cowardly thing to do. but traditionally it's been the male gender who does it more. notice i didn't say men that time. because men don't cheat, nor do women, immature little kids not adult enough to act like grownups do!

Aug 13th 2009 7:31AM actually, if'd you read my comment BEFORE answering you'd have seen nowhere did i say her cheating was okay. what was said was that i didn't blame her for running away! you do not come across as very stable, you think it's coincidence that so many people here picked up on that? now i'll admit much of it could be anger at her. understandable, but still can make you sound like a nut. anyone who cheers on the kind of person who'd attack someone who had nothing to do with betraying him has a warped sense of what's right and wrong. it's the cheater who did wrong, yet so many go after the other person, who made no vows...
and pmotts, while today more women have begun cheating, they still haven't come close to the number of men who cheat. i've read that about 40% of men and 28% of women, 44% to 36%, and several others that all have one thing in common, men cheat more! google it p, try to find one study that finds more women cheat, i'd honestly like to see it because i never have. so yes, women are catching up, but we're not quite there yet...
and for record, i've been married over 22 years and am 39. neither of us cheat but i know how lucky we've been.
