Money College: How to eat on less than $35 a week (WalletPop)

Mar 11th 2010 2:17PM I must say $35 for a week is quite difficult indeed. But I would suggest the following deals. Since it is practically $5 a day budget. For $5 you can get a lot of food a lot for flavor by availing of the deals out there.

1. $5 dollar 1 toping pizza from Little Caesars. This is enough for 2 or more meals for 1 person.
2. $5 footlong from Subway. (Healthy too but not a regular deal offer)
3. $1 Spicy Chicken Sandwich or a Double Stack or Jr. Bacon Burger from Carl's Jr. (You can now buy 5 or split between lunch / dinner)
4. $5+ Mini L&L Hawaiian Barbecue (they often give large servings even for Mini plate)
5. Visit your nearest dollar store for Soda/Snacks (popcorn, cookies, chips)
Always all things in moderation. Nobody died from skipping a meal in fact you get ill from not eating healthy or by eating too much of anything.

Former Bank of America employee offers inside look at bank's practices (Daily Finance)

Dec 8th 2009 3:29PM Think about it we are paying their bailout twice. 1st payment is actual bailout money from tax payers. 2nd payment fees generated/hussled from all BofA customers which is used to payback the bailout to the Feds. BofA to "big to fail"? Tax payers getting screwed 2x "priceless"!

Wal-Mart with a Latin touch (Daily Finance)

Aug 10th 2009 4:30PM The Walton's have already made enough money. If they do not correct the problem and cater to "The American's" 1st then they can take care of the "minorities" after. Commonsense dictates business wise which would do you good in the long term, servicing the majority or the minority¿ 2nd of all the minority or latin community is dwindling due to the current state of the economy. Bottom line the Walton's have been brought to the top of Forbes billionaire list not by Mexicans but my AMERICANS. If they will not help AMERICA then they do not deserve AMERICAN'S loyalty or support. Support your local grocer/local stores even if it may be pricier, the money comes back to the local community and not to the forbes billionaires who have more money than they could do with. LASTLY BUY USA!
