Aug 19th 2010 11:25AM I have not been to the areas cited in this article, but I have been to a couple of very charming spots that have the same kind of ban. Bayfiely, WI, for example, had plenty of dining hoices running the full gamut of price ranges. In addition to great food, these establishments also helped us visitors get to know their community much better. Propriotors and staff were proud of their area and let it show. I'll take a local resteraunt over a chain ANY time.

Aug 12th 2010 5:44PM I hve fond memories of this meteor shower from my childhood. My parents would get us kids bathed and in our PJ's, load us into the car, along with blankets and a huge bag of popcorn, and we would drive a little north of Toledo to a park to watch the sky. We'd lay on blankets on the hood and roof of the car, eating popcorn and learn of the wonders of the night sky. It was thrilling then, and still is at the age of 58.

Buzz looks like he's having the time of his life. I think it is really going to be a great season, no matter how long it takes to vote the crazy broad off.
