Rand Paul: Like Father, Like Son? (Politics Daily)
May 24th 2010 10:25AM I get the biggest kick out of people who think somebody is wrong but do not do the work to check it out to see if it is true or not. Take David Corn's comment about Ron Paul that declared in the 2008 presidental campaign that he does not beleive in evolution. From that comment l get that we all should embrace evolution and that Paul is an odd ball.
Actually Ron Paul is correct and the David's Corn of this world are wrong.
To begin with Darwin was an agnostic, a non believer, do you think that just that one fact might be a motavation for his theory? Do you know at one time it was against the law to teach evolution in public schools? Do you have any idea the very big part the ACLU played in the Scopes later called the Monkey trail? Ever wonder why the higest paid attorney in the United States, making over $100,000.00 in 1929, would take the case for free just to keep Scopes from paying a $200.00 fine? In the end Scopes had to pay the fine. We beleive things are are not true because we do not check things out. I did all my work before l got a computer.
'College and Career Ready'? Education Reformers Need That Defined (Politics Daily)
May 15th 2010 5:37PM The thing we must keep in mind was that each state ran its own school system, not the government, and the unions did not control educations like they do now. Unitl those two problems are resolved no new idea is ever going to help and or improve education.
BP Oil Spill, NYC Terror Plot: Limbaugh & Co. Go Nuts (Politics Daily)
May 5th 2010 8:49AM David you and the media are blaming everybody else in an effort to cover up the real party or persons who are reaponsible for the B P oil spill. The blame is our government because they, not B P, allowed it to happen. Before B P was awarded the oil lease there should have stated requirements and standards that have to be met with B P agreeing to it and it now appears that that did not happen. Maybe it was lobbing on B P part (another way of saying bribery) Maybe it was a political appointee that had no experience in the postion he was placed in. l do not know but l do know this our governments seems to thrive with incompant people in high positions. when was the last time a person was actually fired instead of protecting and covering up the mistakes made without a public out cry?
Vatican's Handling of Clergy Sex Abuse Gets Failing Grade in Survey (Politics Daily)
May 5th 2010 8:29AM The media has spent a lot of time blaming the Catholic church about pedophiles within the church. It is important to know that Pedophilia is not a Catholic church problem, it is a human behavior problem that effects all religions, groups, races and countries through out this world. Twenety years ago the normal acsepted cure was two weeks counsoling. Today we know that there is no cure for those sick people. So why are we applying todays knowledge to a twenty years old accepted solution and condeming them for not knowing what we know today?
My personal feelings about pedophiles is that they do not deserve to breath the same air we breath. Those people do more harm the a murder to the young innocent children lives.
EPA Staffers Were Forced to Ignore Science, Investigation Finds (Politics Daily)
Apr 30th 2010 7:01AM EPAis known to cave under pressure and when they do we the public lose. Here is one example: we all heard of Aspartame ( an ingredient foune indiet sodas, NutraSweet, Equal to mane a few products. It contains 98% of pure sucralose. The 2% contains a small amount of methanol ans arsenic which can caouse all kinds of problems to the body. To there credit the FDA fought the company off for many years that is until, Department of Defense, Donald Rumsfield got involved with pressure. Now you know how Aspartame got approved. Almost forgot; l did not tell you the positon Rumsfield held before the Bush apointmant. President of the company that made Aspartame.
Women to Begin Serving on Navy Submarines for the First Time (Politics Daily)
Apr 29th 2010 11:06PM Unless things channged they go out for 60 days. Of course the fast attack time under is different. The sub does not come up. Nobody knows what is going on at home nor does the people at home know what is going on in the sub. From my experence with sub sailors and what they go through l think it is a stupid move. Next things the girls are going to get in the Delta Force.
Why Liberals Are Right to Refuse to Honor the Confederacy (Politics Daily)
Apr 12th 2010 11:01AM I get the biggest kick out of these people that think they know what caused the civil war and there only sause of information is what they learned in school. If you took the time to read books, other then bias school books, you would learn that the south was Tarrifed to the point that they were losing money even though they were producing more. Did you know that blacks owned slaves? did you know that in South America the agerage life span for a slave was less then one year? Did you know that blacks fought for the South during the War? Did you know that they recieved a pension in the 1900's. The writers of the school books did not think these few fact were important.
The Silent Killer Takes Out a Woman Who Would Not Shut Up (Politics Daily)
Apr 7th 2010 10:29AM I get so upset when people get cancer that they believe the person wearing the white smock. when are people going to realize that before pills people used herbs whcih is currently used through the world. I sent a person l knew a packet of alternate ways to fight cancer. He was dead within one month probily finguring that l can get the best doctors that money could buy. He did and lasted one more month. Dr. Joseph Gold, a medical doctor, developed something that could pre long a cancer patents life and sometims cure them using a very cheap drug, Hydrozine sulfate.
Now that you have the information what are you going to do about it?
Obama Goes Nuclear -- and We Should Be Glad (Politics Daily)
Apr 7th 2010 10:11AM Mr. Corn, it is a shame that l am so far down the line that nobody would read what l have to say but l am going to say it anyway. If some country dropped a bomb on the United States beieve when l tell you it would not be just one bomb but many of them. So we are to react after they land on us? Don't you think that they will try to knock out where ware bombs are located, big cities and of course Washington, D. C.area. If they are successful and we have nobody who is a fighter in charge the white flag of surrender will be raised.
From what l understand tha we will not react, with the bomb, in kind if germ or chemical warfare was used on us. So what are we going to do, send the military in? the military that is unders staffed and spread so thin that if a realy big one came that most adult males would be drafted into the service. Obama is slowly dis mantling every thing this country stould and stands for.
Army Report: GIs Outgunned in Afghanistan (Politics Daily)
Apr 2nd 2010 7:36AM I am shocked that a paper was written about our ineffective weapons after 8 years of fighting. What in the hell are those people doing in the Pentagon? Gates needs to spend time cleaning up the inefficency within his own domine rather then trying to change the don't ask, don't tell policy which is kind of ironic because he and the others who are making the decision do not have to be housed with gays.
You would think that those people in the Pentagon would of learned a lesson when the media were filming GI's welding plates on the Humvee's for protection. That was when they finally got the message. My suggeston is to send those over feed, out of shape people getting bigger butts from sitting behind there desk to the front lines not for a couple of days but for at least six months in the field. Maybe things might be better for the guys in the field doing the hard and dangerous work.
