Sarah Palin Sticks to Her Guns, and Gun Imagery, in Message to Supporters (Politics Daily)

Mar 29th 2010 5:46PM Read the Constitution and read the papers written by the people that worked on making this republic a country. It was clearly their idea that regular citizens should be ready to step up and stop government from taking power not authorized by the Constitution. There are still numerous nonviolent options that need to be used before the "final option" is even suggested. The way the health care bill has been handled clearly shows te willingness of some in government to bend the laws and rules. It is up to the courts to determine the legality of what took place. If the courts determine there are violatons those responsible for implimenting these changes need to be held accountable. Clearly this would start with the President and his advisors and move down through the government to the lowest level of elected officials that supported those struck down laws.

Valerie Jarrett on Going to Extremes, and 'Seedy Chicago Politics' (Politics Daily)

Dec 23rd 2009 5:47PM If the government would do a few things, 1) allow insurance companies to be nation wide 2) limit the ungodly legal awards for malpractice(50-60% of the award goes to the damn lawyer anyhow) 3)don't allow them to disqualify for pre-exsisting conditions, 4) procedures that are supported by a second opinion are covered- period no "sorry that procedure is experimental and we don't cover it" BS, what they really mean is that treatment will cut into our profit margin so we wont allow it. This would be a "start" and it would not require the government to collect any money, hire any empoyees, or be in my medical information. Just my humble opinion, and they do work for me so it should count for something.

The Point: Grayson Sorry for 'Whore' Remark (Sphere Lite)

Oct 29th 2009 5:12AM Funny, you had to read the article very carefully to see that he is a Dem. If he was a Rep it would have been in front of his name every time. But this AOL after all what did I expect.

Jury Awards $6M to Taser Victim's Family (Switched)

Jun 11th 2008 12:13PM Totally un realistic. If the taser was not used the guy would have been shoot with a firearm. The taser is an appropriate tool for attempting to stop violent people who have shown the ability and intention of assaulting someone, including the police. A police officer should not have to risk injury from some crazed individual. This suspects actions resulted in him being tased. If not for his actions he would not have been tased and he might still be alive.

Is your teen ordering alcohol online? (ParentDish)

Aug 30th 2006 4:04PM Let's see, drinkning under age is ILLEGAL, it is present during most teenate crimes against people. (think rape, assault, robbery) It is the leading cause of teen motor vehicle collisions.(MVC's are one of the top 3 killers of teens every year.) Early alcohol use does lead to adult alcoholism. It causes damage to your kidneys, your brain, and your liver. It impairs your judgement. (Think teen pregnacy.) Lastly, it makes breaking other laws seem less serious. Laws like trespassing, malicious mischief, shoplift, and others are commonly commited by intoxicated minors. So it seems rather simple that everyone should take underage alcolhol use seriously.
