Sep 13th 2008 5:08PM Well at my middle school we could only carry purses smaller than a half sheet of paper but people brought big purses anyway and most of the time, no one cared.
At my high school we can carry backpacks and purses.

now we are discussing fat people...
anywayz i am going to write about smoking...

okay so my dad found a way to quit smoking. he went to LifeTime Fitness! (a gym) so he went to the gym almost every night and worked out untill he was tired. his body found out that his lungs didn't have enough capacity (cuz of tar in smokers lungs) to work out to his full extent. anywayz smoking didn't matter to him anymore. only getting in shape and working hard. but... then he didn't have time to go to the gym anymore so he stopped and started smoking again :[
but he is trying to stop smoking again. (w/o the gym cuz he doesn't have enough time)
and so is my grandma :]

okay so i think the main reason smoking isn't illegalized is because the government gets lots and lots of money from it.

and i too wonder why alcohal doesn't get as bad as rep. as smoking. alcohal does damage to the user and people around them (drunk driving) smoking mostly does harm to the user. but sometimes to others (2nd hand smoke)

one last thing:
one major thing that makes me never want to start smoking (im 14) is my mom. all she does all day is sit around and smoke. alll say long. she also lives with her parents. (i live with my dad. they are divorced) so yeah sitting around all day smoking doesn't sound very fun to me.
