Galley Gossip: Flight Attendant Pet Peeve #3: You want me to do what? {Gadling}
Jul 17th 2008 10:27AM I am firmly on the flight attendant's side of this one. If you choose to stupidly drag a full sized piece of luggage onto the plane you need to be able to lift it into the overhead bins. Common courteousy would tell people this if they had any common courteousy. but they don't care if they make unreasonable demands, they don't care hw many people they hit in the head with over large luggage.
I hate the new checked baggage charges, not because I mind paying $15 to check my bag but because it will encourage even more people to "carry on" more than anyone could possibly carry.
I remember when people only carried on a bag if it was a small bag containing what they needed for a one night's stay. Each flight would have three or four inconsiderate passengers that had full sized luggage but for the most part, carry ons looked like carry ons. I also remember that when the plane arrived at the gate we had all disembarked in three minutes. No standing and waiting 30 minutes for a plane full of passengers to retrieve their luggage before you can get off the plane. You could get your bags from the carousel and get to the curb in the same amount of time it takes to even get off the damn plane these days.
In my opinion the airlines have this all wrong. They should be charging to carry on anything over 5 lbs.
New Yorker's Obama Cover Touches Nerve {Political Machine Blog}
Jul 14th 2008 2:37PM When I first saw the cover I thought the same things the writer did. that it was such outlandish satire that it would be obvious that it was meant as sarcasm, satire, you know, a joke.
Now I'm reading these comments and I realize Obama and McCain's camps are right. There really are people so ignorant that they would think this was meant to be an example of accuracy.
I'm not crazy about Obama, it will be another case of voting for the least of the worst again for me but I can't believe anyone would take this cartoon seriously. I suppose if you're a McCain fan and so desperate that you'll reach for and grasp any straw...
Pregnant Man No Longer Pregnant! {TMZ}
Jul 3rd 2008 5:10PM If this man is a loving parent he'll change his name and move so that ignorant jerks won't give the poor kid trouble. Just reading this board makes me realize how cruel even adults can be, much less unmannered children.
Careful Daddy, That's a Live One! {TMZ}
Jun 19th 2008 7:59PM This is really sick. If your teenage daughter is going to get knocked up at 16 you should have the common decency to not flaunt it. I mean birth is something to rejoice yes but when it's a child who is giving birth a mother should have the decency to be embarrassed about doing such a bad job of parenting. I love the advances in technology and such but at times I so long for the old days. You know, the days when people had some sense of morality. Remember what that is, morality?
Nice role models these Spears girls are for Americas youth.
Jennifer Hudson is flashing her undies. Is SJP to blame? {Styledash}
Jun 18th 2008 11:24PM Ro is a moron. sorry but even though I agree that young girls are dressing much too provacatively, NO one deserves to be raped, no one asks to be raped, no one tempts a normal man to rape.
Rape is a violent crime having nothing to do with sex or enticement. It has to do with a man who must control but is unwilling to do so in his usual relationships.
Nothing justifies rape, NOTHING

Jun 18th 2008 3:27PM If it ain't toned, keep it covered. that is just plain nasty. I can live with the bra but not the rolls of fat fully exposed and oozing out of the too tight clothing.
Kazuharu Sakura's Leather Keyboard: Only Touch Typists Need Apply {Switched.com}
Jun 18th 2008 2:14PM Looking at some of my keys that have the symbol worn off and the shiny space bar I'm wondering how durable leather would be for a keyboard.
It looks sharp and might make a nice gift but not very practical.
Potent Quotables: Pharrell a Bully? {Spinner}
Jun 15th 2008 10:17AM I don't care who either of them is. What type of man brags about making a woman "cry like a baby".
Why would a person be so proud of being a total A hole.
"Wow, I am such a jerk that I can reduce even the toughest woman to tears"
Obviously he's not into women because he'll never get another one into bed after letting his big mouth run rampant in this way
Woman Quiets Catcalls By Stripping Down {Asylum}
May 25th 2008 2:39PM Women here for the pleasure of men? I think not.
One poster said "... Women are basically craving the attention of men, thats why they dress in revealing attire. Women are here for the pleasure of men, and most women love being in the spotlight. I learned this from experience. "
These are the words of a man who says she really wanted it even though she was screaming "stop" all the time he mounted her like an animal.
Hold on a Second, Sweetie {Political Machine Blog}
May 15th 2008 3:39PM I don't ask for much, just a president who is capable of speaking without being an ebarrassment. We've had eight years of it, isn't that enough?
Why is it that when you take the prepared speech away, politicians can not open their mouths without inserting their foot?
