Ombre Nails: Would You Wear It? (Shopping Articles Blog)

Aug 6th 2011 2:08AM My manicurist did this to my nails one time in the 80s, didn't like it then either. I love bright toenails but color on fingernails seems so outdated to me, I prefer variations of French manicures for fingers

Ombre Nails: Would You Wear It? (Shopping Articles Blog)

Aug 6th 2011 1:56AM well, thats one way to sell 5 bottles of polish for 1 manicure. I wonder which marketing dept came up with this new trend

Kerry Campbell, Mom Who Gives 8-Year-Old Botox, Being Investigated by Child Welfare Services (Video) (Stylelist)

May 13th 2011 10:20PM Well thank God someone is at least asking questions. Hopefully they'll look at more than the botox, this mother so obviously has some mental health issue and I question her ability to be the parent this or any child deserves. Our number one responsibility is to keep our children safe. Injecting a virus into them for the sake of your own vanity is sick, sick, sick.

Mom Defends Decision to Give 8-Year-Old Daughter, Britney Campbell, Botox (Video) (Stylelist)

May 12th 2011 11:50AM I don't know which horrifies me more, the idea of what this is doing to this child's idea of beauty and her own self image or what this will be the start of in the child pageant world. What's next, removing ribs to get the appearance of a post puberty tiny waist in a 4 year old?
If there is ANY tiny amount of integrity in the pageant world this child needs to be suspended until she looks like she did when God made her.....you get the picture

Kara DioGuardi: I Was Date Raped by Well-Known Music Producer (PopEater)

Apr 19th 2011 10:31PM I'll never understand why some people feel it's appropriate or even of interest to expose in great detail, incidents that any rational person only mentions to their therapist.

Spring and Summer Style Tips for Short, Full-Figured Women (Stylelist)

Breast Milk Baby Doll Teaches Kids to Breast-Feed (ParentDish)

Mar 30th 2011 5:52PM My worry isn't with this one toy, it's with most of the toys parents are buying. They eliminate the need for imaginatioon and creativity. There was a time when a doll did nothing but look cute and stimulate a child's imagination. Nothing stimulates a child's imagination any longer because toy versions do everything ..No more making vroom vroom sounds while pushing a car along the ground. I miss the days when children played pretend, when they were such imaginative beings.

Teen Troubles (MyDaily)

Mar 28th 2011 4:45PM It seems that our society is set on rewarding bad behavior. We're the only ones who can change that by refusing to watch these shows and buy the magazines who do covers on the girls. There are young girls who get pregnant and handle it well, they're busy trying their best to be good mothers while they complete their education and work to support themselves and their child. They don't have time to brawl over a boy so MTV in their infinate wisdom decided they wouldn't be entertaining enough. MTV's argument is that they're showing how difficult life is for young girls who get pregnant but the girls they've cast aren't examples of how hard it is. They're out there getting into trouble.... where are their kids? I'll tell you where, they're with Grandma, the woman who is raising them. I'm not opposed to a show on teen pregnancy but lets see some teens who are actually trying to be good mothers and get someplace in life.

Big Hoss of 'Pawn Stars' Arrested For Bar Brawl (PopEater)

Mar 23rd 2011 10:44PM A bar fight, of course he was drinking. People who get violent when they're drunk, shouldn't drink. Is it really that difficult to figure out?

Pear-Shaped Women: What to Wear for Spring (Stylelist)

Mar 18th 2011 5:00PM You know Carole, most 20 year olds think anyone over 50 is unattractive. Does that mean you won't be leaving home and subjecting them to your mature self?
For the record, I'm a few years younger than you, 5'7" and weigh 128.
I'm just curious, do you really feel better about yourself now that you've done everything you can to ruin the day of anyone who happens to be 20 lbs overweight? You must be very insecure indeed. I'm sorry for you.
