Mar 20th 2011 8:35PM Well... I do pay my son allowence but not for chores... I have opened an account for him and he pays everything with his debit card or cash. I don't expect him to do anything at home the same way I grew up. He will be doing all this crap when he is on his own anyway... He is a very responsible 16 yr old young man. He understand money does not grow on a tree and takes care of his car and expenses by himself. I am financially very responsible and I am sure when he is olderhe will be too. I just don;t think I need to use free labor to run my household. I know everyone i going to disagree with me!
