Jun 29th 2010 5:33PM With Verizon "old" policy in place, I am sure it is not an iPhone that we used to enjoy. Is Verizon has better signal and AT&T? I personal experience worse with Verizon.
Is Verizon cheaper? There are cheaper than Verizon.

If I see Verizon change a bit of the iPhone's functionality or see the damn red "V" anywhere on the phone, I'll not even consider it even if AT&T bankrupt.

Though, I rather to pay a fix price for full features phone than being charged per use.
Verizon disables the phone to download wallpaper, ringtone etc through computers or other bluetooth phone. Then, charging a dollar or 2 per download thro' its crappy web site. This does add up and cost more eventually.
Features provided or enhanced by network carriers should be got paid for. Disabling build-in phone features and charging for alternative is a cheap shot. The worst part is Verizon's alternative make the features worse, despite of the additional cost. (Make thing worse: Verizon rewrote the interface for RAZR phone, omit a standard build-in feature that allow the phone to "ring and vibrate" as well as "ring than vibrate".)
Agree with you that both AT&T and Verizon are cheap cheap company but I dislike Verizon more.

I am not a big fan of AT&T (with the drop calls and high cost) but definitely not Verizon. I concord on "Anyone familiar with Verizon... will selectively disable features, sometimes so they can reenable them for a monthly fee." And that's the reason I left Verizon before iPhone enter the market.
I rather go with T-mobile than Verizon - a greedy greedy company.

We all buy Apple stuff because of it quality, not because we like to pay more or the look only, right? If so, why would we have to pay AppleCare on top of already very expensive hardware? Should Apple take care of their poor built computer?

So, you are telling me we not only pay premium for expensive hardware, but also pay additional "AppleCare" to have a usable computer - in order to use it for several years. Why don't you just tell me Apple charge their hardware too cheap. We, customers, should pay more.
