After Backlash, Man Evicting 98-Year-Old Mother Relents (AOL Real Estate)

Mar 3rd 2012 12:37AM Ms. Ramsey - SHE did not quitclaim the house to him. Her dead husbands will put the house in a trust, with Peter as executor of the trust, with a stipulation that she be allowed to remain in the home. PETER, as executor, then turned around and filed the quitclaim on behalf of the trust, transferring the property to himself and his wife, jointly.

She did not do anything and probably until she got served wasn't even aware he had done it.

How Can I Get My Child to Sleep in His Own Bed? (ParentDish)

Jun 8th 2011 10:50PM So now if you child has to go to the bathroom or if the house catches fire, he will be so afraid of "Mr. Paddle" that he will not get out of bed. SMART - make your child afraid of you!!

Police Use Pepper Spray to Subdue 8-Year-Old at School (ParentDish)

Apr 6th 2011 5:32PM I agree with the woman who posted about parents using pepper spray to control an unruly child - we'd be in jail, no questions asked. The child is in a school specifically designed for behavior disorders, just the fact that he is allowed to attend such a school states that EVERYONE involved is aware he has issues. So, yes pepper spray was excessive - the police should have never been called - the special team within the school should have been notified and if they couldn't handle him, then possibly call the police.

Steve Harvey: Taking The High Road Regarding Ex-Wife's Salacious Smear Campaign (BV Newswire)

Jan 24th 2011 11:47PM OK - to all you out there saying that we know nothing about her or the whole situation and should cut her some slack - APPARENTLY there are major issues in her life. You do not often see the father winning full legal and physical custody of a child in a divorce - unless the courts find a problem with the mother's ability to raise the child. Race makes NO DIFFERENCE - this woman is jealous, bitter and hateful and she is out to not only destroy Steve Harvey, but her very own child. Hate to break it to you, lady, but from what I have read - you turned your son against you with your actions (he is 15, not stupid).
C'mon YouTube videos years after the divorce is final??? She's just trash talking for the attention - and now is gonna pay because she violated the court order not to post or discuss. You won't be getting any money, honey, but contempt does carry a jail term.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Is Outraged She Wasn't Asked for I.D. Before Voting (VIDEO) (AOL TV)

Nov 2nd 2010 2:43PM I had to show ID in Missouri. I don't know if they do it to verify that I am who I say I am or that I still have a legal right to vote in that particular polling location. I do know I was asked for ID and had to verify my name and address on their list and initial. I then had to sign the log book.

Breaking the Binkie Habit (ParentDish)

Jun 18th 2010 12:55AM For the twit who said "don't give it to them and it won't be a problem", you've obviously never had a premature child in the NICU. The nurses GIVE it to them to soothe and to encourage the sucking reflex - as with preemies, it hasn't fully developed. So get a clue before you judge!!

As for getting rid of it - never had that problem. My son threw away his own pacifier at 9 mos old and ditched the bottle at 18 mos. So, getting rid of them was never a problem for me. I do know of kids who were old enough to talk around them and that drove me nuts - I'd just tell them if you are going to talk to me, give me that thing and they would.

My Grossest Moment as a Parent (ParentDish)

May 23rd 2010 4:33PM You are a moron - it is not sexual abuse to circumcize your child. I've actually heard it neglectful NOT to do it, as urine can collect in the foreskin causing infection.

The Unschooling Movement: School's Out ... Forever (ParentDish)

Apr 19th 2010 11:37PM While I do not agree with this method of "educating" your child, I must say to all the morons who posted comments, but obviously didn't read the article:

Call CPS all you want, the article clearly states that there are no set laws governing homeschooling or unschooling in several states. I would imagine this woman lives in one of those states, therefore calling CPS would only take a worker away from a REAL case, as they have no jurisdiction to remove the child solely because of the parents choice of educational method!

This call CPS bullshit is getting way out of hand. People can call CPS and report a bogus crime just because they hate their neighbor and can do it anonymously, so there are no consequences! Yes there are those calls that are REAL, but as with 911, if you call they must respond - USE PROPER JUDGEMENT and stop reporting shit just because you don't agree with your neighbors parenting. If the child is fed, clean, clothed and physically well, mind your own damned business!

Her Baby Name Sounds Like a Bad Joke (ParentDish)

Mar 26th 2010 11:58AM I have friends who wanted to name their unborn son Duncan. That is, until the Grandpa to be said the childs first and last name together - Duncan Hines. They quickly changed their minds and he is a happy, lucky 4 yr old.

How Do I Shed My Childhood Nickname? (ParentDish)

Mar 5th 2010 7:01PM My grandmother's name was Katie. My cousin named her daughter after our grandmother. I love the name Katie and as it appears on their birth certificates, that is what it is. Grandma was never Kate - nor is Little Katie - sometimes K, but never Kate. My grandmother was 87 when she died in 2008 and was Katie all her life. You are only 20 - you will survive, too.
