Selena Gomez Rushed to Hospital After 'Tonight Show' Appearance (PopEater)

Jun 10th 2011 2:34PM Hope she is okay...I refuse to join the "she is pregnant" group this quickly she deserves the benefit of the doubt...Actually it sounds like a migraine...and I've been to the hospital (and admitted) a few times for them.

Crystal Harris Doesn't Want All of Hef's Exes at Her Wedding (PopEater)

Apr 1st 2011 2:00PM I'm sure they couldn't have all his exes at the wedding...one there might not be a room big enough...and two are they all still with us?

Despite Plight, Mandi Schwartz Inspires (Fanhouse - Lisa Olson)

Jan 31st 2011 1:53PM It's amazing how one person can touch so many other lives...There are always miracles, but if that is not to be...I pray for a peaceful end to a beautiful life....

LeAnn Rimes on Falling for a Married Man: 'It Happens Every Day' (PopEater)

Nov 4th 2010 9:49PM It does happen all the time.. in Hollywood and on Main Street..Sometimes you don't even realize that something is missing, that you have gone in different directions until you find someone going in the same direction as you are.

Why is Leann vilified for it, and no one seems to remember Angelina, or any one of a dozen other Hollywood couples.
Also, why is it Leann everyone is upset with...it took two to fall in love (or cheat)...Back to the old double standard,

She is a talented singer, not a role model.

10 Retailers and Restaurants We Really Miss (WalletPop)

Nov 4th 2010 8:48PM Two of my favorite memories are from NYC...the first was Horn & Hardarts automate...you would put your money in a slot and open the door and get your food. There were people in the back filling the compartments whenever they were empty.

And a second was Zum-Zum's...they had great German wursts and beer...but in a counter...semi fast food setting.

10 Retailers and Restaurants We Really Miss (WalletPop)

John Travolta and Kelly Preston Are Expecting (PopEater)

May 18th 2010 8:47PM My mother and father were 43 when they had me nearly 60 years ago...and she this after she lost one son to spina bifada 18 years earlier, and already had a 16 year old son...To say she was surprised is an understatement, yet she always told me I was the best thing to ever happen to her. I don't consider any pregnancy an accident, just a gift from the universe.

Is Robert Pattinson a Movie Star or Just a Teen Idol? (Cinematical)

Mar 24th 2010 8:05AM I'm definately not a "teen fan" although my granddaughter is. She saw Remember Me and absolutely loved it...I'm a major Twilight fan, and can't wait for Remember me to come out on video..Freom what I understand about Remember Me, the movie is actually good, it is the ending that is causing issues...and again from what I have heard, it just reenforces the theme of the movie...Life is to be lived because you never know. .I think Robert Pattinson has the abiltiy to become a good actor....not a star (but who wants to really be a star these days). When I realized he actually has a British accent I could actually see him doing some Shakespear...and I think he was really good with some of the dry humor in Twilight...leading me to believe he could play parts that Cary Grant (showing my age) or Hugh Grant has played in the past.

Overweight? United Airlines may charge you extra (WalletPop)

Apr 15th 2009 7:21PM I don't usually have issues traveling because we usually travel in a group of 3.and I'm a rather small person, but I do think certain amendments might need to be made for people with documented physical issues that make it impossible for them to be smaller....Yes I'm choosing my words carefully. There is a difference between someone who is obese for medical reasons and someone that is obese for any number of other reasons. I'm curious as to what will happen the first time someone who has a medical reason for being larger than the average size person decides to sue the airline...and it is sure to happen because there are laws against discreminating against someone with a physical issue and I'm sure someone is sure to test the issue.

Where in the world is Matt Lauer? At home, wussing out (WalletPop)

Mar 21st 2009 6:05PM My income isn't way up there, but I have enjoyed traveling with my kids and grandkids for years...on a budget...Many US hotels now offer a pretty good continental breakfast...traveling even slightly off season saves a lot...even a long weekend away can do wonders. My kids know a lot more about the US and the history of our nation because we visited a lot of it, Here in the Northeast you can visit Vermont in "mud season"...which is the time between ski and summer seasons...it is beautiful in the spring...Acadia National Park is a wonderful place to visit, without spending a fortune, Boston is great, and you can find hotel deals just outside the city, and riding the Charlie system is fun, that is just a small sample of ideas for a long weekend or even a week without breaking the bank.
Matt could show people how to vacation without spending a fortune, which would be encouraging for people who aren't sure where to go.
