Microsoft, Wal-Mart Sued Over Child's Death (Switched)

Aug 6th 2007 9:30AM I agree it's very tragic, but how is it WalMart's fault? If you want to sue the manufacturer for their faulty product, fine. Don't people realize that every time they broaden their lawsuit to include companies that sell the products they are only hurting themselves and other consumers. Prices are continually raised due to lawsuits that are inappropriately filed against innocent parties and frivolous lawsuits (this one is NOT frivolous, but it shouldn't include them). This is a very tragic accident. I am sorry for the family but again, how is it WalMarts fault?

Did Idol producers try to replace Paula Abdul with Belinda Carlisle? (AOL TV)

Feb 14th 2007 3:50PM It's a shame that people would rather come to negative conclusions about her behavior and assume she's on drugs or drinking than to consider a medical condition or reasonable explanation. Personally, I think Paula may suffer from a medical disorder like sleep apnea and/or excessive daytime sleepiness. These conditions can make a person appear "out of it", slur their words, make their eyes appear glassy, and/or make them seem to be in the "twilight zone". It also causes difficulty concentrating. We should all show our concern for her well being rather than be pointing fingers and insinuating that drugs or alcohol are the cause.

Baby denied flight (ParentDish)

Aug 28th 2006 4:39PM We all need to look at the BIG picture here! I'm sure the parents were greatly inconvenienced, and I feel for their trouble, however the Airline did act in the best interest of everyone. It's the horrendous act of September 11th and terrorist acts following that which has changed the rules and regulations of how we now travel. Be upset with the terrorists, not those that are diligently trying to protect our safety.
