Sep 6th 2008 11:01AM Boras has permanently changed MLB. I honestly dont know how he sleeps well at night, nor how his kids and family can admit they are related to him. I'm all for making money, but lets be reasonable. How many teams didnt make playoffs or win championships because some player lets Boras handle things? How many players regret being Boras' plaything? Its obvious Boras doesnt even like sports..otherwise he wouldnt trash it as much as he does.

Aug 21st 2008 11:00PM If he DID use the "C" word or he didnt....it doesnt matter anyway. Yet another hypersensitive reaction to what happens to people EVERY DAY. For too long people have been demanding people grovel and throw away their life's work over a word here or there. Or a comment. Facts are if everyone that said something that someone didnt like were forced to quit their jobs and start over...our economy would FAIL overnight. And no one would be any better. Too many people think that you can change human nature by being "nice" and "accomodating". Sorry folks, take off the rose colored glasses and look at the real world.

Aug 11th 2008 6:56PM Interesting, article and the comments. So let me get this straight you cant be offended if a mother breast feeds in a public place, but SHE can be offended if YOU are offended. I can understand if there is no room for her to go, but putting a towel over her so the baby can have its meal and not put on a show for the rest of the public is in NO way offense nor is it a "human rights issue". Lets hope those "human rights tribunals" dont get into the US, besides being unconstitutional, most of its decisions are not ligical, not sensible and basically panders to the extreme left wingers. So lady....would it be soooo offensive is you decided to be a BIT modest and at least cover up?

Aug 3rd 2008 10:58PM I really wish some of the more honest liberals (yes I know that for most liberals...that makes it an oxymoron)would explain to me why we should ACCEPT poll results that favor liberal positions as an honest representation of the country with no details of the poll, while poll results that favor conservatives, must go through the wringer with detailed analysis of the actual polling data and quibbled together commentary about what the poll "actually" meant. Yes I know that to honestly answer this makes liberals uncomfortable, but hey..you have to grow up some time..

Jun 18th 2008 7:14PM Its hilarious..the people sooooo worried about how "classless" the firing was. Its REALLY HILARIOUS. First...getting fired is not good by any stretch of the imagination, but how you do it is easy to pick apart AFTER THE FACT. Realistically he should have been fired after the Mets lost the post season last September. Second, its not like he is going into the unemployment line. He like many managers before him will go on to another team..and eventually manage again. Some teams, no matter how well stocked, are not a good mix for some managers. So dont feel sorry for the ex manager..he is well set.

As for idiotic comments from Canadiens whining because Americans dont flock to hockey games..well consider the source. Many Americans love hockey. The fact that some dont doesnt detract in any way. America gets the bad press either way..if we dominated hockey, the world complains..if we dont flock to the games to watch..the world complains. Pathetic really. As for the remark about all the time off from knee surgery ...golf is a game of fractions of inches (millimeters to your Canadiens)..a limp and half his vision wont affect his hockey game much. But then hey..Tiger makes more in one year than most of hockey does...so i guess they are simply jealous..
