Nov 17th 2010 7:54AM The only problem with profiling is that where there is a weakness the terrorists will exploit it. There are lilly white men and women who are muslims. If I were a terrorist I would recruit one of them if only Arab looking people were screened.

The thing about screening is it has to include everyone; otherwise the terrorists will exploit it, for instance; if they only screen muslim men then send a muslim woman, if they never check old men in wheelchairs then send an old man in a wheel chair etc......

Perhaps all the people that think its a violation to be screened can fly a special airline just for them that does not screen at all. THat will be the first airline the thugs will choose. The only problem is that if they decide to crash it into a building it will kill innocent people who did not choose to take the risk.

Nov 17th 2010 7:36AM The fact of the matter is, the full body scan is fuzzed out and in Black and white so it is not like looking at a nude photo. Your face and hair etc do not show up, the person looking at the scan is not the one selecting who gets scanned. These people look at hundreds if not thousands of these a day, everyday for years. Do you really think they get a kick out of seeing your fuzzy outline? As for radiation; the atmosphere filters much of the radiation and when flying at 40,000 feet you are dosed by more radiation that the scanner can give.

I think everyone that is a threat should go through a scanner except maybe babies and young children.

To give muslims a pass is fricking stupid, religion or not if they dont scan they don't fly. It is because of them that we have to do this and to exempt them is just the pinnacle of stupidity.
