The constitution of the United States guarantees me the right to "life, liberty and the persuit of happiness". If that happens behind closed doors why does our government have a right to tell me I can't do it? We need to get a very powerfull lobbyist to washington to tell all those prune faced cronies that you allow us to vote on it or you are fired next election!

Jul 9th 2009 3:43PM Dear Sydney: You ask for a reason this is wrong other than the bible..... how about procreation. The reason any species is on earth is to procreate their respective species. Plants, animals, fish, ect all mate, breed, pollinate, what have you. In the natural world, if a species turns to homosexuality then guess what....they go extinct.... momma natures way of taking out the trash! I don't have a problem with same sex couples provided the following criteria is met:
1. They do not push their beliefs on me, and that includes public displays of affection.
2. They realize and admit that their behavior is not "normal" or in the natural order of things. If it was natural, then after 5000 years of civilization we would have mens rooms, ladies rooms, gay rooms and lesbian rooms. If they want recognition and rights then they have to be honest and admit that their behavior, although it works for them, goes against the natural order of things.
And by the way, where is the line to be drawn. If homosexuality is to be tolerated, why not beastiality, pedophiles, rapists, ect....all these behaviors are sexual orientations and technically against the law of the land!
