Dec 4th 2009 6:23PM Team DeciNena (think of the 80's song about 99 Red Balloons) is one of the best-organized and fastest growing, and we are now incorporating other teams into our web site and recruiting teams to join us if they feel they are too small to compete alone.
We are offering to share part of the prize money with all particpants who are active on Dec 5th, not JUST the actual balloon finder (who will receive a larger reward).

20 most worthless pieces of junk: #20 -- The rice cooker (WalletPop)
Jul 9th 2009 11:35AM All the Asian families I know use rice cookers. Especially at high altitude here in Colorado, cooking rice (like bread or other baked goods) has some special quirks due to the lower air pressure and lower boiling temp of water. The rice cooker has the necessary sensor to get the rice water to just the right temp it needs to be to cook properly, inside the closed pot, without any guesswork or opening the lid to check on things.
I gave rice cooker away during a cleaning binge when our son was born, and I kind of regret it now that I make home-made California rolls.
