May 1st 2008 11:12PM I cut off the end of my left thumb about 15 years ago. It was at least half an inch of it. You could see the bone. I took the piece to the hospital and the Dr. threw it in the trash can. My thumb was squared at the time. He said it will grow back. I was stunned. You threw away my thumb. Aren't you gonna sew it back on. And he laughed at me. Said don't worry, it will grow back. Put something on it to freeze it so it would quit bleeding. Then wrapped it up in a bandage and sent me home with some pain killers. Now the pain wasnt all that bad I was numb too it after a while. But when I came back to get the bandage changed. They soak it in water and rip it off. You can imagine how this felt. This happened a few times that week. Until It finally didnt need a bandage. Guess what the end grew back just like the Dr. said. You wouldn't even notice it, If I dont point it out. There is some scarring though. And fifteen years later the end is still more sensitive than the other thumb. So I am not buying the Pixie Dust story just on my experience. I think the guys finger would have grown back. As long as he doesnt lose a bone in it the meat will grow back around it.

I know the same kid that is not old enough to drink and drinks anyway at a party because it is the cool thing to do, then gets behind the wheel and gets pulled over or gets in an accident and hurts or kills somebody. Then says it's not my fault. Or the one that goes speeding through a school zone with no regard for others but when they get caught, they were just being targeted because they are different. The same ones that go out and get pregnant drop out of school and leave their parents to raise the baby while they party. The same punks that think it is OK to wear their pants so that their underwear shows and then start screaming discrimination and harassment when Police question them. The one's that are still living at home not paying their way in life years and years after they should be because they are too irresponsible to make it on their own. See this is more than about wearing a shirt with stupidity written all over it. It's about taking responsibility for your actions. It is about maturity. It is about showing some humanity towards other human beings. So go ahead and wear your baggy Jeans and shirts that show your ignorance. Draw that attention to yourself. Have no regards for others! When you are getting arrested and being Cuffed I don't want to hear you complaining because in case you can't read it, my shirt says "STFU You go what you deserved, PUNK!"

Before the play starts, the referees put the football somewhere on the grass. The center stands right over the football and grabs it with his left hand. He puts his right hand on the grass next to the football. When the quarterback signals that it's time to start the play, the center will sweep the ball up between his legs and hand it or toss it to the quarterback.

Aug 2nd 2007 9:37AM This is cheating! According to NFL rules when the ball is snapped it must pass through the legs of the center. Look it up. I played Little League and High School Football and was taught the same thing.
