Jul 9th 2010 10:46AM I totally disagree! My husband and I both have very different tastes about what is fun & interesting on vacation. The result is that we take turns choosing. We have traveled as far as Japan and AUstralia from our small town Alabama roots. We have visited almost all the United States--most many times. Several months ago, we visited The Winchester Home while in the area and we both loved it! It was very entertaining and interesting! The design and decor was both beautiful and bizarre! Mrs. Winchester was a haunted woman with belief in the bad advice given to her by a psychic. She was also innovative and wise--designing ways to conserve water--so decades before anyone heard of "going green"! I would love to go back!

As a side note: my Dad also visited the Winchester Home years ago & he thoroughly enjoyed it. I have several friends and family who have visited the Wall Drug and loved it! I think this reporter must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed and been out of coffee to give him or her their proverbial happy face! Thumbs down, Terry Ward!

Jan 22nd 2010 2:44PM I am shocked at the people who have had unresolved problems with Best Buy! I wonder if the people were asking something that simply was not possible or was against their policies, which are posted on HUGE posters above the checkouts for all to see. Our local Best Buy, in Florence, AL, is GREAT! Our business & our family run about 10 computers and I am the family "Go To" person. When I don't know, I call the Geek Squad! They know me by name and always, ALWAYS give me clear, concise answers, good advice, and try to save me money by helping me to make the best choice from my options! In fact, they are the ONLY business on my Christmas list--I bake brownies for the Geek Squad at Christmas to thank them for all their hard work and good advice! I am even a "Fan Of Best Buy" on Facebook!

He can spin it however he wants, but the stuff coming out of his mouth is the same sack of excuses offered up by every person who couldn't honor their vows and WORK at their marriage! Grow up! Marriage...and raising children...is hard work! All that "respect" and "love" he's getting from his girlfriend will change in one of 2 ways. She will either become a permanent partner, who will need mutual attention and devotion (like his wife) OR the "relationship" will fizzle out because it is based on lust and forbidden fruit...which always leaves a sour taste in your mouth!

Jul 7th 2009 12:15AM Are you serious??? Just because "plenty of people" get involved before their divorce is final, does not mean that they are not cheating! Plenty of people have affairs, but that does not mean that they aren't cheating, either! The marriage vows are very clear. If they are broken...and they obviously were...it's cheating. It does not matter that "plenty of people" do it! The number of wrongs, does not turn the wrongs into rights by majority rule!

He was caught driving under the influence, posessing an illigal firearm...and let go because if his "good works". Instead of realizing he needed to clean up his act, he evidently decided he was above the laws--both civil and moral! On to an affair with a girl young enough to be his daughter, more DUI scandals in a vehicle he owned with his mistress, and murdered in a condo he "frequented" with her? He may have done some good things, but he also lived a life of immorality and, in the end, he reaped the same crop he had sown!
