New Jersey May Ban GPS While Driving (Switched)
Jul 1st 2009 4:14AM "...the death knell for mobile GPS...." I don't think so. It's only PROGRAMMING the GPS device whilst driving that will be outlawed. You can still program it whilst stationary and then let it guide you whilst driving. I can't exactly imagine people discarding their GPS devices simply because of this minor inconvenience, and anyone who's tried to program a GPS device will know that trying to do it whilst driving would indeed be highly dangerous, it provides much more of a distraction than sending a txt.
