Johnny Depp Lends His Support to Roman Polanski (PopEater)

Feb 2nd 2010 3:34PM What he stole from that victim, who at the time was only 13 yrs old! Cannot be replaced with money, the infamous "I've changed" and the fact that he knew he was guilty of this act, God only knows how many others. Instead of being this icon to other actors/directors and hiding out for 33yrs, what lesson did he teach his own two children? 1) Daddy is a sick monster in the United States and they want him to pay for what he did! or 2)Money can get you whatever you want, and after all that child agreed to it! Makes you wonder how can you do something like that, and go right back to work. I'd send him to jail, with no soap on a rope!

'Deadliest Catch' Captain Suffers Stroke (PopEater)

Feb 2nd 2010 2:05PM I hope you have a speedy recovery, you remind me so much of my father. No preaching on what you should or shouldn't do, I wouldn't go out and do what you do to feed your family! May your family find strength to see you through this time, and may your grumpy spirit pull you through. Best Wishes.

PetSmart Survey Reveals Motives for Pet Adoption (Pawnation OLD)

Jan 27th 2010 5:00PM Everyone calls me the Mom of the Unwanted. I've never bought any animal, not even a goldfish. I end up with Dogs who came from homes where abuse would not even cover what had been done to them. My most recent addition to the family is a "mini" which is really a "maxi" daushhound (sp?) My daughter's friend found out that the previous owners (and I'm trying hard to be nice) had returned the little guy because he didn't work out with their kids. The breeder had let him go too early and they kept the pup King in a small travel kennel. They let him out, he'd get excited and of course he had to go potty. Their punishment was horrible. The breeder was going to put him down, he was no good now. After my daughter called, King now has a happy home with 3 big dogs, and one old pug. He sleeps on our bed and if you ever want to know if animals think... look into their eyes when they've been rescued. You'll find your answer.

'Survivor' Star Jennifer Lyon Dies of Breast Cancer (PopEater)

Jan 20th 2010 4:24PM There are no words that will fill the void your family and friends are going through now that you have taken another journey that you must go alone. May you find a place with relief from the pain that this disease brings to too many and unfortunately to someone so young. We cry because we think we've lost a loved one, not knowing that we should be happy, they are no longer suffering trying to hold on for us.

Forget what the government says, if you feel something that doesn't feel right. Get it checked out! Mine was suppose to be a biopsy and turned out to be a lumpectomy! Guess what? The doctor didn't find it, the mamo didn't either, it was me. When I lay on my back, you could play golf off my right breast, perfect divet. Fore!!!

Jay Leno Back as Host of 'Tonight Show'? Not According to NBC (Inside TV Blog)

Jan 16th 2010 7:07AM I'm not very savy on the ins and outs that have occurred over the years regarding late night television. I still Mr. Carson. But since he cannot return to the air waves (I don't think we would enjoy it at all!), we're faced with watching grown men acting like kids at the playground fighting over who gets to go down the slide first ( except the slide ride involve millions of dollars!). I personally prefer Leno on the Tonight Show, I tried to watch Conan in that slot and it didn't work for me. 10:00 pm belongs to our regular shows. Leno belongs on the Tonight show and I have no idea where Conan goes, but he isn't going to be happy anywhere! In my humble opinion.

Unsold clothes destroyed at H&M -- until Twitter roared. (WalletPop)

Jan 7th 2010 3:02PM I have the solution for the problem: take away the tax write off if any clothing/shoe department store destroys merchandise and give them a higher tax for doing so. Now if they should choose to donate the merchandise to charities they would receive the much coveted "tax write off". Of course, someone outside of that particular store would have to oversee this, we wouldn't want another rip-off (big wigs getting the best of everything, as if that isn't happening now!) Seems simple to me. Money talks, BS walks.

Mother Of Nine Says She Was Sterilized Against Her Will (ParentDish)

Jan 6th 2010 4:05PM Let's see, she already settled out of court with CVS over an expired spermicide ( apparently she didn't read the label before useing). Did that money go to Mass Health system as repayment for services rendered? She now is going to sue with "pain and suffering" what pain? etc, etc. What blows me away is the statement that she may want to have more children? I have nothing against that if she is required to be financially responsible. If she wins the lawsuit, that money should go back to the welfare system. Then it's a win win situation. But she should not get the money. After all, what's done is done. Should she marry and her husband and her decide to have another child they can try other methods. Just my humble opinon.

Target Rehires Zhu Zhu-Buying Employees (Holidash News)

Dec 23rd 2009 3:46PM Well glad to see everyone is in the "Spirit". It was a toy, and apparently one you didn't get. Everyone screws up once in a while. If you work in a office, you never took a pen home, or mailed a letter, or got on the web? The mechanic never did a little side work. If your perfect, good for you. I don't believe it, but apparently you feel it would be better to follow your superior judgement and fire these people. Will that make you sleep better, and come Xmas morning will you be proud of your decision? Yes, Susie or Tommy, I agreed that so and so should be fired over a damn toy. I hope they are having such a good time as we are! It's so sad that a toy brings out the "best" in soo many of you. Look in the mirror, tomorrow it may be you.

Emergency-room docs offer inside scoop: How to get treated faster, better (Daily Finance)

Dec 1st 2009 5:15PM Jonitia Johnson So the truth is: Doctors are not here to heal and help the sick, they are here for the almighty dollar.
So they check their list first, and if that infant child of parents x&y (who lost their jobs, like millions of other people have) has a serious medical condition, but their name is on his list will let this child wait for another doctor. What if the wait is too long and the child dies? Does the doctor who refused to treat them because they could not pay their bill tell the parent "I'm sorry, but you didn't pay your bill before. Next time pay and you'll get better treatment"? I hope you sleep well tonight and for all those ER doctors that keep lists, step up and post your name. If you stop getting any patients, you won't have to worry about your list.

'V' is for Obama? Not So Fast (Politics Daily)

Nov 12th 2009 1:10PM Calling Earth! Does everything have to have some secret message? Can't we just sit back and enjoy the show? The show is about aliens. If you use your brain you can knock out all the possible references to our current situation. Unless someone wants to slip out of their human skin and say "SURPRISE!" Just go back to watching a fun show and find something else to link Obama to. You're wasteing to much time and mind power to link a TV show to reality. Why don't you fix reality?
