Jun 22nd 2010 4:23PM Why are you, and others, pointing out the date of D-Day as though the article had mis-stated the date? As far as I can tell it gives the correct date as being June. She never says September. Is there some sort of mass hallucination about the date? I'm not being nasty, it's just that several people seem to be under the impression that she said September and she didn't.

Nothing else could explain the mountain out of a mole hill they're making out of this. If Joe Nobody left the house at night and hit his mailbox, paniced and lurched forward and hit his trash can, maybe one nosy neighbor would peek out the window, and that would be it. Tiger does roughly the same thing, and suddenly he's cheating on his wife, and whatever else the rumor mongers can think up. Leave us one or two role models to think well of, PLEASE!!

Such "holier than thou" attitude, you must be a really special person.

It would help if you realized that there are still people who only get "free" television reception, hence the reference to rabbit ear antennas. Those are the folks who only watch what they can afford, and now they will either need new digital televisions, or a converter, both of which will require a hookup that costs money as well. Keep in mind that not everyone, even if they are hard working, frugal people, can afford to pay anything at all for television and are making use of the antenna for that reason.

Stop judging people, and try checking out how the other half lives before you shoot your mouth off. And as for radio, most of those lovely words kids are spouting are also found on talk radio and in music as well.

Nov 27th 2006 7:51PM Holly, I'm on your side and all the people who aren't most likely use the word "prolly" and "there" for "they're or their", as well. I mourn the death of the English language and the art of spelling. Any employer who sees mistakes like that will reject you out of hand.
