A record number of shoppers shows Cyber Monday is here to stay (Daily Finance)
Nov 30th 2009 5:41PM I think the point of Cyber Monday is to create buzz for online shopping in general. If people hear about it enough over time, they are likely to change habits.
Though it is amazing how many people are completely paranoid of buying online.

Older Slingboxes won't work with SlingPlayer for iPhone (Engadget)
Apr 2nd 2009 12:51PM
LAME. I bought the first slingbox the day it came out. I promote it to everyone in large part because they improve on the functionality of the original unit. Way to alienate your strongest supporters. Do they not realize that most people don't GET slingbox? It almost needs to be explained by someone who has it.
Way to be shortsighted...

Third-party iPod shuffle headphones will require Apple-licensed authentication chip (Engadget)
Mar 16th 2009 3:09AM Where do these ideas even come from? "Authentication chip" WTF? Apple always has to take something cool they develop and do anything they can to prevent others from improving on it or using it for anything else and creating all sorts of restrictions. It is all about what Apple decides to bless us with. It is getting really old.
