A Kitchen Cupboard Makeover Via Contact Paper (Shelterpop)

Jun 19th 2011 10:28AM The "OLD" contact paper uses to come off in bits and pieces, but it no longer does that...it comes off quite easily. As for curling, I use contact paper all the time to line my shelves, etc...even over the oven and I've never had that problem.

'Prairie Home' Host Suffers Mild Stroke (PopEater)

Sep 11th 2009 12:49PM Are you a fan of his radio show? I loved the movie just for that reason alone...because I love his radio show and him. It made me feel like I was allowed behind the scenes of the show. He is a sweet, dear man.

America Voted: Audience Not Happy With Ellen on 'Idol' (PopEater)

Sep 11th 2009 12:33PM It finally will give me a reason TO watch the show. I never really cared for the mix of judges before, but now I'm willing to give it a chance. I happen to like Ellen's personality...she's funny, kind and intelligent.

Sep 7th 2009 12:22PM If someone were to make an edible Jesus, you can bet that someomne ele would scream,"blasphemy!"

As Seen on TV: Is Aspray for real? (WalletPop)

Aug 25th 2009 11:47AM Lucy? LOL...maybe it was her Vitameatavegamin commercial that brought us down this slippery slope. I thought this commercial was funny, crude yes, but very funny all the same. I seem to recall Robert Dole parading around in those erectile disfunction ads...now that was unconvincing...lol.

Daily Dose of Style: Kate Gosselin (Shopping Articles Blog)

Aug 22nd 2009 12:25PM I'm not much of a prayer as such, but I agree with you. People are so quick to belittle and judge. Unless we walk a mile in someone else's shoes, I think we should refrain from judging them. We are all complicated beings and no one knows how they would react to what life throws at us...we can only hope to do our best.

Aug 22nd 2009 12:17PM Maybe you just answered your own question as to why she doesn't shop the outlets...lol...unsolicited interventions.

Sears and Kmart spin a golden oldie and bring back the Christmas Club (Daily Finance)

Aug 18th 2009 12:17PM When I was in banking, albeit it many moons ago...we used to be baffled by how many people used Christmas club accounts rather than just savings accounts. Setting up a separate "Xmas" savings account yourself would yield much more interest. I don't understand why people can't do that now.
