I surmise that in Powell's mind it's inconceivable that the man behind the counter saw him walking around the terminal and JUST DIDN'T RECOGNIZE HIM. What a leap in logic on Powell's part.

Dec 24th 2006 5:02PM Just another example of the thug mentality that's dominant in the NBA and which is now creeping into all professional sports. Professional athletes consider themselves bigger than the game and above the law. Much of it has to do with the fact that they don't know how to handle the multi-million dollar contracts their handed. It makes me want to puke when I hear an athlete that's offered $10 mil a year holding out because he "needs to think about his family."
