Oct 27th 2010 11:53AM @Joebudgie You are right. Years and years of studying art, curatorial work and international support the people who put up this show have undertaken have all been for naught. How could they have been so wrong when all they needed was your clear expertise to summarize this aesthetic statement? Why don't you get into museum work or art advising? You're clearly a pro.

To be honest, these are, in our opinion, the go-to, beginner intros. We have some great selections later for art -- I guess its hard for us to call one of these "innovative" as they all "innovated" the genre, but none seem brand-spanking new anymore (they've been around forever). But this isn't our MUST READ list, its our MUST KNOW list. Keep reading as we do genre breakdowns.

50 Under $50: Back to School (Switched)
Aug 23rd 2010 9:51AM @ilaggie23 This is meant to be a fun list for inexpensive ways to get excited about back to school. However, I would like to correct you: it is highly unlikely that a professor wouldn't allowed a recording device in his or her lecture room. My college and university (I went to two) encouraged it, and the short amount of research I did suggested that its almost always allowed, but you should always check with your prof: http://www.educationask.com/higher-education/1954-1-Higher-Education.html.
We would suggest, as the post says, for anyone in medical or journalism school.
