Jim Nantz Must Pay $1 Million a Year in Alimony, Child Support (Fanhouse Backporch)
Nov 3rd 2009 4:16PM The judge said neither of them are at fault for the divorce, but screwed the husband anyway. Can anybody tell me why in he** hubby has to pay $70,000 a year for a stinking country club membership? Of course, I agree with child support and letting the custodial parent keep the house the kid lives in. Alimony should only last a few years until the wife can get herself situated in a career, but the country club has "nothing to do with nothing" - as does the condo which the wife keeps and is occupied by her mother. I am a divorced female and I feel sorry for this guy whom I've never even heard of before!
The Point: 1 Year Later, How's Obama Doing? (Sphere Lite)
Nov 3rd 2009 10:59AM snipeacommie: Of the popular vote, Obama got 53% - hardly a landslide as elections go. (LBJ in 1964 got 61%, FDR in 1936 got 60.8%, and Nixon (yes, Tricky Dicky) in 1972 got 60.7%). The AOL poll is used by AOL readers, of course. Why do you think that the poll is off-kilter because those who voted for him should way outnumber those who don't? Think about it - maybe the 53% who went for him don't bother to read any AOL articles!
Octomom Nadya Suleman's Pregnant Nun Halloween Costume (Stylelist)
Oct 30th 2009 10:06AM Aside from the fact that she's certifiable, the costumes are cute. Had anyone else been wearing them, they'd have been cleaver. Why, oh, why, is there always a photographer around her? Is it because there a lot of people like me? I like to read about her .... she makes me feel almost sane.

Are VA Loans Working for Troops? (Rented Spaces)
Oct 17th 2009 10:05AM As usual, government red tape with its reams of paperwork, makes things more complicated on us simple folks. It's only going to get worse as Uncle Sam invites himself deeper and deeper into our lives.
Rush Limbaugh, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the Rams: Should the NFL be Renamed the 'National Liberal League'? (Politics Daily)
Oct 14th 2009 7:16PM I'm almost afraid to say that I don't like Rush, the Rams, Jesse, Al, GW, Barrack, democrats, republicans, liberals, conservatives, or the NFL. In this day and age of PC, we all need to be Pollyanna's and say how much we love everyone and everything in the world. Maybe someday we'll all not only look alike, but think alike.
Polanski Agreed to Pay Victim $500K, but Records Indicate He Stalled (PopEater)
Oct 4th 2009 3:51PM So we should hang the pimp and let the jerk who drugged and raped the pimp's 13 year old go free? Drugging and raping anyone is sick and illegal - let alone a kid.
Polanski Agreed to Pay Victim $500K, but Records Indicate He Stalled (PopEater)
Oct 4th 2009 3:41PM Not too many hookers would work for nothing - which is exactly what the jerk has payed.
Latest Round-Up of Obama Approval Ratings by State (Politics Daily)
Oct 4th 2009 8:37AM Mel Avante: You state you are a "former" Marine. My family tree is loaded with Marines, some dead and some living, some male and some female, some who etired and some who enlisted and got out after a few years. Never, ever, would any one of them refer to themselves as a "former Marine". Once a person earns the right to become a Marine, that person is always a Marine. Semper Fi.
Controversial Nude Shields Image Yanked From London Museum (PopEater)
Oct 3rd 2009 10:01AM coolsamcc: What's your point? Brooke is descended from royalty- so what. Most of us European-Americans (if there really is such a thing) can trace our roots back to some bed-hopping king. The fact is that her mother had her doing some inappropriate things back in the day. Furthermore, for those of you who weren't born then, or don't remember, it was unacceptable then, just as it is now whether or not it was illegal.
