Socks+sandals: Alexander McQueen pairs the unthinkable (Stylelist)
Jul 30th 2008 8:48PM just because it's a norm doesn't make it right!!!! Why do men think it's alright to wear socks with sandals? Ditch the socks or just ditch the sandals altogether!....and please do not, I repeat DO NOT wear socks with flip flops....
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's Babies Don't Wear Repeats (ParentDish)
Jul 27th 2008 3:03PM Its not uncommon for Babies to wear an outfit no more than one time. Parents recieve so many gifts that they try to get their kids to wear every piece of clothing before the kids grow out of it. Babies also tend to ruin clothes with spit-up and messy diapers, which also means they can go through 3-4 outfits/day! Don't rip on J.LO before you know all of the facts. Most of this article was all just speculation anyway...SHOW US SOME SOLID FACTS!! I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and also assume that she is donating the clothes once the kids have worn them.
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's Babies Don't Wear Repeats (ParentDish)
Jul 27th 2008 2:17PM when my cousin had her baby she had recieved so many baby gifts that the baby rarely wore an outfit more than once because my cousin wanted her to get at least one use out of everything. Also, its not uncommon for a baby to need to be changed more than once a day especially with spit-up and messy diapers.....I don't find this so extreme for a child in their first year, however if J.Lo doesn't let the twins wear something more than once when they are toddlers and older that will be just out of control and too extravagant.
Surprising dogs breeds to be wary of (ParentDish)
Jul 9th 2008 8:46AM AND THEN WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THAT SMALL DOG BITES OFF THE FINGER OF A CHILD? MAYBE THE DOG WOULDN'T BE A THREAT TO YOU BUT A FAMILY WITH SMALL CHILDREN NEEDS TO KNOW THAT BUYING A SMALL DOG MAY NOT BE THE BEST OPTION. THEY MAY LOOK HARMLESS, HOWEVER, THE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR AGGRESSION ON A SMALL CHILD COULD BE DEVASTATING.
Flatter Your Figure: Hiding a muffin top (Stylelist)
Jun 14th 2008 12:01AM if you have a muffin top than your pants are too tight! Buy pants that actually fit and then this wouldn't be an issue for you and other women! Just because low rise jeans are a trend doesn't mean that it will flatter every person and that everyone should be wearing them!! ughhh so gross
Heavy metal (That's Fit)
Jun 7th 2008 10:54PM it would have been nice if you told us what the danger of aluminum is...Up until this point I assumed it was perfectly safe to use especially since there is foil made just so you can put food into it and cook it........they really need to choose better people to write these blogs! It doesn't have to be new york times material but come on, how about a little more detail!
Eat fast food for a month, drop five pounds? (That's Fit)
May 10th 2008 8:36PM a serving of french fries should be the kids size french fries from most fast food restaurants. There is no reason to eat a large order of fries, even the medium is pretty absurd. I haven't eaten at a fast food restaurant in over a year and I plan to keep it that way. If i'm going to indulge in high calorie/fat laden food its going to be something thats worth it, not frozen fries and chicken or burgers.

How Many Calories ... in Pad Thai? (That's Fit)
Jan 24th 2008 9:55AM I always share pad thai when I order it. Its definately not a dish you want to eat by yourself. Also, you can enjoy all asian food, you just have to be wise with choices. Order sauces on the side with dishes such as chicken w/ broccoli, have brown rice instead of white, and steamed dumplings instead of fried. When I was in college I ate chinese food every weekend and still lost weight because I went with steamed instead of fried!
