Innocent Bath-Time Photos Get Kids Taken Away From Parents (ParentDish)

Sep 22nd 2009 4:29AM I see a ton of comments here attacking the worker. Having worked in a photo department myself when I was younger, I tend to blame the worker less, and the police and prosecutors more. When I was working, by company policy, and no, it wasn't Walmart, but another similar type of place, we were required to report ANY child nudity to our bosses. I agree, that was we saw of the pictures in this clip were totally innocent. But it wasn't for the clerk to decide, nor did the clerk take the children away. He/She just reported it. The police and the prosecutors should have investigated better. It sounds like they were the ones with the power trip.

As a parent, yes I have bath time photos of my child, but I would never take them to a public place to print. If I wanted to print them, I'd print them at home.

Massucci's Take: Placed my order at Wendy's -- and got a new iPhone (Daily Finance)

Aug 26th 2009 4:12AM When my husband and I went to upgrade our phones for AT&T, I wanted an Iphone. We went to the local AT&T store and they didn't even have them out on display, let alone a demo at all for people to check out. There happened to be an Apple Store downstairs, so we went there. The tech who greeted us directed us to someone (immediately) answered every question I had about the phone. He also pulled out his own to show us different options we couldn't necessarily see on the demo. And the best part? Not a single push to actually buy the phone from them. If Apple's products weren't so out of our price range, I'd be a customer for life.

How Many Votes Did Kris Allen Get? (AOL TV: American Idol)

May 21st 2009 1:31PM Eli I'm on the east coast and I text my votes in... I know here you can't vote till the end of the show, and usually within 10 minutes I have a confirmation message telling me my votes were received.

Tuesday night I voted right after the show, like I always do and didn't get my confirmation till 12:30 the next afternoon. With 100 million, I'm not surprised the phone lines were jammed.

How Many Votes Did Kris Allen Get? (AOL TV: American Idol)

May 21st 2009 1:26PM I voted for Kris on Tuesday, but I was always split between the two. Needless to say I really didn't care who won, they are BOTH winners in my mind. Adam will do better this way, there won't be so much control over his album. He'll be free to do what he pleases, while Kris will have to be the puppet for the year.

And at least Adam won't have that horrendous single on his album!

U.S. Postal Service wants to deliver mail 5 days a week, not 6 (WalletPop)

Jan 31st 2009 2:29AM If my mail carrier could ACTUALLY deliver my mail correctly, I'd probably use the mail more. They don't pick up my mail when they're supposed to, and I never get bills on time. I get my neighbors mail more than my own, and when I do get something its usually marked "not at this address", If the service is this unreliable, can you blame people for going the easier route?

'Twilight' Primer: A-Z (Moviefone Blog)

Nov 21st 2008 1:53AM I love the books, but I really don't see what the fuss is about with Pattinson.... I don't think he's the greek god that Stephenie describes in the books.... he does wonders with the role from what i've seen in the previews, and i am excited to see the movie, but rating him the hottest vampire in vampire movies? absolutely not!

Were the Brangelina Baby Pics Photoshopped? (Switched)

Aug 6th 2008 6:38AM My son was smiling at less than 6 weeks, mind you a baby doesn't need "external stimulation" to smile, they just need some good gas!

Playground mats do more than break a kid's fall (ParentDish)

Jul 23rd 2008 12:32AM Ninainindia, barefoot is not appropriate for a public playground, ever... with the possibility of broken glass or worse lying around, people should be protecting their children.

Personally, before setting my 17 month old anywhere, especially in barefeet, I would have checked the temperature of the ground. My deck can get hot in the full sun, let alone those dark playmats.

On a side note, I personally find it amazing that no one has commented on the fact that the city of NY KNOWS these mats can cause severe burns, and still maintains that they're safe and REFUSES to replace them... besides a parenting mistake (and despite the fact that yes, this is common sense, we do all make mistakes), I find it ridiculous that this would be allowed to continue... How many kids need serious treatment before they're considered dangerous?

Beauty and the Obese (Blackvoices Main)

Apr 2nd 2007 1:23AM Am I the only person who seriously can not stand Sanjaya? I don't think he's remotely good looking, no matter what he does with his hair. My tastes in music do not include what La Kisha or Melinda sing, but I still think they are our front runners of the show. If he outlasts them, than there's no point in watching the show anymore. This is a SINGING competition, not a popularity contest!
