Ori Feibush, Philadelphia Real Estate Developer, in Hot Water After Refurbishing City's Vacant Lot (AOL Real Estate)
Oct 4th 2012 1:42AM if the city was required to maintain the lot and they failed clearly to do so, then they should not be so concerned about the actual improvements made to the lot which clearly will bring in new business and revenue. the taxes will go up surrounding the properties. and they no longer need to not maintain the property or keep it as a trash pile and could actually even make money on a sale of that space and collect property taxes on it. who is in charge of that city? they all need to be sent on their way along with the rubble and garbage from the lot to allow new people to run the city who actually have brains that aren't fried. on the side of the city to be fair, anyone who does work on a city property without permission to do so is trespassing? really? i dont see any fences to keep people from getting hurt entering the unmaintained property-therefore still the city is at fault for not maintaining it ever as it appears. city needs to drop the embarrassing issue they created for themselves sell the property to the guy minus the money he already put in to clearing it, charge him taxes on it, and raise taxes around it, and find new city officials with brains-quickly.
Fed detects a pulse in the US economy, keeps rate unchanged (Daily Finance)
Apr 29th 2009 11:37PM i agree the only upswing in spending is the fact that people may have received a tax refund and have had to spend all of it to pay back loans and bills for the high pirces of things and loss of jobs and credit. hardly a way out of the recession. what a bunch of morons.
as far as anyone still losing their homes without help from their mortgage company or bank, contact your congressman's office and state representative website-there should be something to help keep you in your home.
Teen Arrested for Texting in Class, Hides Cell Phone in Butt (Switched)
Feb 18th 2009 10:49PM THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!! that a child be arrested for not doing anything except disobeying an obvious control freak teacher- demanding someone do something is not the best way to handle anyone in life ever and rarely ever works!
we by law are required to send our kids where they dont want to be simply due to rude facist people in classrooms ordering them to do things they obviously wont do
meaning the disrespectful teachers who hate their jobs and kids and dont really want to be there teaching in the FIRST PLACE
WHY would our kids listen to someone who hates them?
KIDS ARE smart they pick up on people who have no clue how to handle kids and who hate kids.
Didnt say kids are perfect they are still kids and of course will text and will try to save their phones when threat of losing one presents itself.
GIVE THE kid back her cell phone!!!! disorderly conduct???are you kidding me??? ARRESTED?? WHY were the parents not called first to take their kid away Before charging the parents a fee and jail record for their kid.
I say parents band together and demand better teachers and treatment for our kids in schools
or we all take our kids out of school and demand government not make it a law to force our kids to go where we still are charged a fee and our kids are shot at, threatened, beaten, hanged, and open to the public for kidnapping, theft and death.
schools have gotten to be a perfect example of allowing government control of our communities!!!!!!!!!!! CRIMINAL.
I sent this on to my government officials as well. everyone else should do the same to make our schools a safe respectable place for our kids to enjoy learning in the new technology age, which, yes! includes texting!!!

Boy Becomes Father at 13 - "I Thought It Would Be Good to Have a Baby" (ParentDish)
Feb 13th 2009 9:17PM Everyone had sex at this age forever. they just never got caught, but if they did, pregnancy was not talked about in the past and abortions were performed by demand of parent choice not what the kids wanted. Today parents are working two or three jobs never home to supervise their kids.
the kids are having sex to compensate for missing love in their homes. they are choosing to have the children rather than abort because it is the right thing to do
and they will no longer be alone.
It actually is working out for the best- this way, lots more people(teens) are having babies while still in school-this means a lot more younger grandparents for the future to come and a lot more energy for the young families as they grow old together. thats called bridging the gap in generations!!! The parents of teens having babies are also grandparents before they turn gray or retired, this means a lot more grandparents are not going to be able to help out their children having babies since they too still have to work. daycare sure is expensive. what happens when the teens are out of school? who is going to watch their children then, certainly not the high school daycare center. meaning they will not be working or they will attend college that has daycare too. so more educated young teens are going to finish college while having children. Better than I can say for a lot of grown ups out there! And by the time they are done with college and ready for a job in the real world they will be able to support their child now ready for preschool and kindergarten. no daycare needed. welfare for a short time to pay for diapers is a good thing. What people out there do not realize is that welfare does get paid back especially if one person is owed child support. The person collecting child support does not get a full payment until the welfare received is completely paid back. so i wouldnt condemn welfare completely, the people collecting are enforced to get a job, go to school and better themselves or be cancelled, and in the future are required to pay back some of the benefits received as well. Wait til you are injured so badly in a car accident that you have to collect food stamps or starve since you cant work, people condemning welfare are exactly the people I bet are embarrassed to no end if they should have to use that system someday. I think kids who are entitled welfare show greater respect for work ethics in the future because they will want to earn more than the minimal amount received from welfare. So condemn if you will, but if you should have to walk in their shoes someday, i hope others condemn you and show you great disrespect as you do here today. BTW GREAT planning by teens having babies!!!!
Police haul HBO executive, husband off Delta Airlines flight (Gadling)
Jan 31st 2009 8:35PM the next person who verbally yells abusively at me, is in for a big surprise. i will call the cops whether i am at work or not and file abuse charges. maybe if everyone does this people will think twice about thinking they are so cool and powerful to yell like a baby and get their way. we can hear you when you speak quietly much better!
Police haul HBO executive, husband off Delta Airlines flight (Gadling)
Jan 31st 2009 8:32PM hey! yeah, finally someone hit the real subject on the point. Hbo half the time doesnt work and we miss those old rerun movies that are already old by the time HBO airs them. Why dont we have the guys number so we can yell at him?? the airline should post it to all HBO customers so he can get a dose of his own medicine. or maybe...he already does get customer complaints and he has learned to yell like everyone else.
Police haul HBO executive, husband off Delta Airlines flight (Gadling)
Jan 31st 2009 7:38PM they should not be able to sue the airline for being detained. they should not have yelled and lost their temper. when i see an angered person I am usually amused at how they allowed themselves to get so angry over a store not accepting a return without a receipt or some other trivial matter like a tv that doesnt work. because your life is going not as you would like it doesnt mean you can yell at others who may have bigger problems they are dealing with that they do not yell about. these people and many others who yell need anger managemnt classes.
Man Sells Daughter For Meat (ParentDish)
Jan 17th 2009 4:30PM I say to bad for the guy getting ripped off. I hope he doesnt get the girl back! and the other guy doesnt get a dime back for anything he has already paid. Doesn't mention if they are illegal immigrants or US Citizens. Either way this is the USA-If they are now citizens here they pay for crimes that used to be ok in Mexico.
