Jul 11th 2011 2:31AM Type 2 diabetes is not always caused by obesity! There is a lot you may not know about the disese. I have type 2 and I am far from being obese and I eat a very healthy diet. My brother also has it and he is thin. We inherited this genitically from our father, who died of cardiac complications from the diabetes because it was not diagnosed early enough, as happened to his father.
I was diagnosed almost as soon as I developed diabetes so I have been able to control my blood sugar very well on oral medication.
I am amazed at the hateful posts to this article! The mother who developed Pump Wear had already had all her children when her daughter developed type 1 diabetes and her sons didn't develop it until they were in their teens. She had no way of knowing her children were going to suffer from diabetes. Instead of applauding her for making the arduous life of having to wear an insulin pump 24 hours a day a little less difficult so many here sought to attack her. That is sad indeed.

Jun 10th 2011 12:19AM My biggest complaint is the atrocious service at the drive-throughs at most fast food restaurants and even the inside service. The only restaurant where service is always excellent is Chick-Filet. At chick-filet they obviously have high standards for hiring people and they do great training. You are always greeted with smiles and helpful employees. They worst customer service is at Wendy's, where the grouchy and glum employees act like you are taking money out of their wages to serve you. McDonald's is often not much better. These companies need to do better training and to always have a manager on site to supervise young employees.

May 21st 2011 12:35AM Did you not read the article? the judge investigated the man and found he had done things like this before and is schizophrenic. He didn't order the restraining order just on Lohan's request. Obviously this is a sick guy, literally and figuratively. anyone would be afraid after phone calls and messages like this.
