Fix DVD Scratches Using a Banana and Toothpaste (Switched)

Feb 11th 2010 5:20PM Brilliant! I'm not sure of the use of the banana, but the toothpaste is obvious. Toothpaste is a very light abrasive, so of course it would work very well as disc cleaner...

I wonder if the banana residue bonds with the toothpaste to help lift it away?

VIDEO: Ford press conference yields surprise $650 car announcement (Autoblog)

Nov 6th 2009 12:32PM So, Ford decides to destroy all the good press they have gained by acting like rich assholes and laughing in the face of the poverty that exists right outside their window?

I won't be buying a Ford now, thanks.

Laughably large Red Light Camera Detector proves that you should just drive safely (Engadget)

Oct 15th 2009 9:51AM I believe that the term "red light camera" is a PC term to sell a product that will notify you of all traffic cameras, whether they be at intersections, on the highway, or just sprouted up randomly throughout your city/park/neighbourhood.

They don't want to be too obvious like I just had to be. It would be nice though, to just be able to say out loud:

"Hey! I'm going to buy a perfectly legal product to protect myself against a quasi-legal spy operation!"

Such are the times, unfortunately.

Apr 27th 2009 11:16PM During WW2 if you didn't like living in Germany, you knew that somewhere out there, there was a country that was truely free ;and you could, if you wanted, leave the prying eyes of the dictatorship.

There no longer exists such a country. There are no borders unreachable, no lives unwatchable. The only solution then, comes not from without, but from within.

Spread the word.

Loocas, the only people that this near-depression is not affecting are the people that are well off enough that they forget to look out their car window as they zoom by all the homeless people in the streets, or notice that they stood in line for that Wii to make a quick buck and for some reason they can't seem to sell it for more than retail.

The U.S. dollar is still the world's reserve currency (for some reason). And as long as we have that and the rediculous idea of globalization and central banking, we will all suffer.
