Nov 22nd 2010 10:35PM I will not be getting up at 3am on black fri, it is just a consumer trap that I won't be falling for this year (I did last year). Instead, I shopped all year here and there looking for specific items on sale for family and friends. I saved a ton of money without using a single credit card. Besides, I hate the yearly consumption cycle which begins its premature focus in Oct. It is not what Christmas is really suppose to be about. Also, you might try to find time cut coupons each sunday for the holidays to help you out with all the food items you might need. Happy hoildays~

Aug 11th 2010 12:33PM I have been walking my dogs in Skecher Shape-Ups for awhile. They absorb shock remarkably well for those who have weak knees and backs. These are not for someone who has ankle issues from surgery. Also, I would not wear these if I had a recently spranged or broken ankle either. Also, make sure you stay on firm, level ground with these or you could end up with an unwanted injury.

You cannot do interval training in these....like walk/run....it is only safe to walk/race walk...but no running. I wear these every other day to give my knees a break.

They do work my shins and calves more than my Nike shox but the comfort they offer is the biggest reason why I love these and was willing to pay the ridiculous price.

If you want them for the extra work out alone, I think you would be wasting money.I would recommend these as a wonderful tool for those who are morbidly obese, they will really help cut down on the jarring of out of shape bodies working to thin down.
