May 12th 2010 2:09PM In 1964 I met Bill. I was the first employee of a new start-up company. He came into the lobby about a week after I began working and BAM.. that was all it took. He got the job and we dated for about three years. Then came Vietnam and he was drafted. I worked two jobs to save money for us to be married. But he re-enlisted for another half year and it was all I could wait. I met another guy and married him. Bill and I kept in touch for awhile then lost touch. I went on to have three children and after 15 years of marriage, my husband left me for a woman he met on the golf course. I went on to be a successful entrepeneur and bought some property in Florida. After owning my condo for over 4 years, I was flipping thru the new phone book and came across his name. Whew, it was such a difficult idea to call but I did. He had not married and was separated from a long-time girlfriend. He had lived only a 1/2 hour away from me and we didn't know it. Today I live in S.Carolina and he still lives in Florida but we are planning on renting an RV and touring the country together. We are retired and looking forward to the adventure. Who knows what the future will bring. At 63 and 64 we are ready for anything.
