Feb 27th 2009 10:01PM Upon the adoption of our son we asked him what he wanted his new name to be. Obsessed with spider-man at the time(and still is) he demanded his new name be Alec Peter Parker. When our laughs wore off we asked him again. This time he suggested Taylor Thrash( Thrash being our last name). He was named Ryan Scott...eventually. what a hoot

Jan 17th 2009 11:27PM Kate O Conner you have a really good point! But I want to point out that it would most likely be considered involuntary manslaughter. The drunk driver(Paula Vokolek Ballard from Deerfield Beach Florida) that killed my mother was convicted of involuntary manslaughter. Involuntary manslaughter shows no motive or intent, just negligence and usually by accident. AKA...no common sense!

Jan 17th 2009 8:14PM I don't think it makes me a bad mother. My husband and I have 5 kiddos and I can remember a time when it felt like complete isolation! I about went out of my mind! My parents and in-laws get tons of new pics of the kids. They have a myspace just for that reason. I can keep in touch with family in Iraq. I can easily organize play dates with other moms or lunch with my friends.

Jan 6th 2009 11:11PM Well, as far as soft spoken, you don't know. Personally I have'nt heard her speak. I cannot judge someone by a passive look. But, she IS always well dressed! She's succesful(in her own right) and pretty. She always matches beautifully with her girls and husband. Let's give her a chance, or is this gonna turn into some kind of Hollywood drama? As far as ridiculing her because she's not "Jackie O"...get real. Obviously she's not, and she's just being herself. She has a beautiful family.
