Jan 13th 2012 6:46PM Thanks to all the SC community that has put into action to help this lady and allow this to be a legitimate connection for all communities to help each otherlike in the 50's and 60's.Send a notice to West Covina,California and help me with my medicine and dental work and pay off this mortgage.I have worked hard all my life and after a hit/run attorney that was a DUI destroyed my car and physical health,its tough keeping things together and enjoying simple things of life even a movie out with friends.Lets all be kind and thoughtful to each other without jail time to learn a lesson.

Sep 20th 2011 2:28AM Its ashame that,we still have heartless people that are unable to extend kindness or empathy for a senior couple that have invested their love and heart to a community.Fostering over 58 foster children will not make you rich if you are really good parents and love those children as yours.Basic needs for children are expensive including their proms/social events as well as school activities/sports etc.Did you heartless fools read that her husband had a stroke and that is expensive care.To have insurance it cost a couple over 600 dollars per month.Congress should have an emergency memorium that no senior loses their home in foreclosures and pay them off based on how the banks used individuals to come to home crisis and Congress bailed the banks out.The banks are not giving loans or assisting people with loans and sitting on the money.ALL that care,march in Seattle and call all your senators/representatives to voice your opinion that enough is enough for stalling and doing nothing but hurting people.I pray that a miracle come forth and this couple never have anymore financial needs and their health restored.Until,we all care about each other and share the weight of another person concerns ,we will all be destroyed eventually.Most of the comments are so immature and calllous that I am sure none of you have ever donated a dime to a person on the street or allowed a friend or relative to stay inn your place without looking for their money or what they can do for you.Stop the madness and care a little.

Sep 9th 2011 6:41PM Don't hate President Obama because this housing crisis was in the works like so many other crisis in our country.This housing was full blown in 1989,when downey Savings gave me a fixed rate and it was 10% and I had two jobs as an RN and was recently divorced with excellent credit.I attempted several times after the divorce payoff to refinance and could not.I did approach Bank of America and my money left over from the divorced was lost in one day and that is when I was told BOA is an International Bank and not govern by your state.So,it might be possible that a foreign country or foreign investors might be pulling the strings and their biggest clientele are Latin and I am told the Latin people are customers ,who are paying payments for homes in Mexico for retirement.I think BOA is a Big maze that if Congress had the balls to really investigate the Banks,we would be in shock.I have had bad experiences with BOA.Why Congress allow them to stay in the Banking business is questionable.ALL homeowners come up with a class action suit and billboards in all states/cities to fight back on thes lenders.We do have power in Numbers.Those who don't have problems with mortgages help those who do before the Demon hit your bank account.

Sep 9th 2011 6:15PM How many stories do we hear before ,we have sit downs at our congressman/women plus senators offices to stop this racketeering of people homes/lives.I ask the Chicago WhiteSOX/RED Sox/Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls donate to this woman's foreclosures and keep this story alive WGN/Chicago Tribune and all residents to save this home and her life.Take this burden off her plate.She has so much more to give and share with the world by her example of buying and investing her vision in this home.I am disabled myself and Attorney Brown in West Covina,Ca and another seven attorneys stole my health/job and Downey Savings/USB contributed my fixed loan to 10% and its like another illness around your neck and which do you prefer a broken neck or broken dreams/40 years of investments to enjoy life.Lets extend a hand to each other across this country and fight with our computers with e-mail and exposed all the investors and who created the commodity scam andtake it to superior courts/streets.

Jul 20th 2011 1:40AM Oscar grant was killed by a white Bart officer and the man was unarmed.When you placed any race of people in a project or rundowned unkept buildings,how can they be inspired to have visions to achieve or face the next day in dispair,when even their grocery store is not in their community and the small mom and pops meat and vegetables are not fresh and a high price to buy.They go to schools where they are sterotyped and look once again at peeling paint,unclean bathrooms,no laptops,no swimming pools or state of the art gyms or playgrounds and no activities to learn a hobby or skill for after school jobs and the world want kids to not express themselves of the great bankrupt of their community.Many go hungry and no one cares.Start a food bank my dear white brother or take a sign to city hall meetings and to balance the money in Black communities and give them restarurants,faast food chains and cut back on the liquor stores in the community.Give them a bowling alley and a golf course and a descent park that is protect until 10 pm and serves snacks.Teach chess and reading ,pyhsical exercises and comedy and how to handle difficult people so they can't stop your dreams and goals.Help mankind and if you have become numb/insensitive about a man's death then I question ,why are you living and what are you doing to better your life and the community.Protect the young girls and boys in the community and not destroy the lives that could and probably will be that next scientists or doctor if they had a helping hand and it s for all mankind.Peace to the white brother and all the black voices that can make a change in someone's life.Say hi to the elderly or cut grass and be kind and thoughtful.

Jun 6th 2011 4:44PM Somewhere,their are many babyboomers who wanted to rebel/correct the rules of their parents and now they can't turn this disrespectful/irresponsible/drug/violent behavior/sex craze maze around.They don't setup any rules for spiritual guidance/educational responsibilities,work ethics/social behavior/communication skills and respect of elders other than to drain their parents of all their hard earned money and threatened them about not seeing the kids.The big snow ball delusion is sending their kids to school and the teacher will teach them all the social/behavior skills plus the academic subject in class.A teacher is not a babysitter or surrogate mother for your kids in school.Its time real rules for the 21st century without some agency saying your civil rights violated,when a child don't even grasp the meaning of the terms.Respect your teacher as well as the janitor and landscape workers on the school campus.Penalize the parents,when the child threaten a teacher and use vulgar language in public/teacher including the parents doing community service with a sign I can't control or discipline my child and never seeked assistance----Wakeup Parents.Stop the delusion of family cute pictures and living like barbarics in the home and not cleaning the house or dishesand boyfriends can sleepover and some parents contribute to the inappropriate behavior.Remeber your children are not your "FRIEND".You are a parent with an open friendly respectful relationship with boundaries.Parents support your schools and teachers.

Jun 6th 2011 4:28PM Its sad that the District Attorney and school officials sugar coat all incidents ,when student are inappropriate to teachers and authority on campus.The cameras only capture the teachers to stay popular with the students and not be a snitch.Shame on the school district for not supporting their peer,when a student gets up in a teacher face that is suspension and that student should not be able to attend that school again.I am sure the parents are afraid of this kid and ignores his behavior and hope he grows up or runaway from home.This teacher should not have been humuliated by going to jail and charged with any criminal charges.Sometimes I think the Da's like publicity vs common sense for their personal goals in life and the heck with destroying descent people lives.You have my support Ms Hadsock.
