Jan 30th 2011 5:37PM When I went to Pet Smart and ended up adopting a dog, when in fact I went to get a dog collar, the girl heading up the adoption program had some pretty disturbing news when she was helping me pick out all the items I needed for my new child. She used to work for Science Diet and was horrified when she told me this. They actually break dogs bones to test its dog food, I guess so that it may claim that it promotes healthy bones. I dont care how good they say it is or what it may or may not do for your pet, I would never buy from a company that would do that. If I ever know of animal testing in any manner, shape of form, they will not have my business. Love them all too much. I will feed them my food first.
