Gerbil blamed for teen's car crash {ParentDish}

Jun 20th 2008 11:51PM Will she learn anything? Gat real. She'll just blame Richard Nixon for opening trade with the Chinese who probably manufactured the gerbil cage.

P.S. Gerbils are cat food.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer Dodges Eggs at Hungarian University {Switched.com}

May 19th 2008 9:48PM Those Microsoft fatcats are all working to build a police state. They deserve whatever they get. Beware of geeks bearing gifts.

Nerd Alert! Geo Metro: the new "it" car? {Autoblog Green}

May 19th 2008 9:25PM Why can't today's cars get the mileage they did 20 years ago? Simple; less mileage, more money. Today's gas isn't as good, we're stuck with all this bogus emission gear, and car makers are in bed with the oil companies. I had a first gen Honda civic that got around 42 -43 mpg but I had to put a fuel filter designed for a diesel boat engine on it to keep the shitty gas from fouling the carburetor and don't tell me that's not intentional on the part of big oil.

Baby Names Being Derived from...Text Messaging? {Switched.com}

Mar 31st 2008 9:41PM Too much dope; not enough discipline. A generation of fucked up mutants doing everything in their power to minimize their kids' chances of a normal life. There are plenty of interesting and beautiful trdittional names in real languages like Gaelic, Italian, and English that no one needs to stick their poor kids with something idiotic out of a cell-phone text message. Or is literacy (and I don't mean computer literacy) too much to ask. God must love stupid people, he makes so many of them!

As newspaper spending falls, some companies face end {BloggingStocks}

Mar 31st 2008 1:00PM Journalists don't belong anywhere on the political spectrum. They're not politicians, they're purveyors of information; the information citizens need to make informed decisions. When a journalist installs himself anywhere on the political spectrum, he stops reporting news and starts spouting opinion. Opinion is worthless. People are catching on to this fact, and the papers that try to sell it are suffering the consequences.

Not-So-Smooth Criminals: No. 7 {AOL Video Blog}

Mar 29th 2008 10:56PM In Canada the clerk would be the one doing time. The robbers would probably spend 6 months learning how to act rehabilitated then get turned loose to do it again.
