Megan Joy Corkrey Voted Off 'American Idol' (AOL TV: American Idol)
Apr 2nd 2009 1:33PM I have to agree with the judges lovely to look at beautiful to behold, but if you just would've picked the "right" song choice Megan, a place on Idol you still might hold! Her voice is unique, she has great verbrato, and again I agree, she sould have been singing more of todays hits. Her ackwardness (stage presence) could be worked on as well as some fashion advice-that's why stylist get paid the big bucks (kinda hard to hide the full-sleeve) but, I have no doubt she will go on...There is a place for her!
Let Us Pray ... to Obama? (Politics Daily)
Oct 1st 2008 12:40PM What is wrong with parents today? Let's not make this kiddie politics! The canidates already fight to smear each other on a immature level...now we're bringing kids into it! For Shame on Obama supporters! This is America not China!!
No. 1 Quality Men Want in a Wife (Personal Articles)
Jul 5th 2008 2:38PM I think that your comment is as sexist as they come! Why would any spouse be resentful of the other for staying home and taking care of their children? "Who sits at home and takes care of children?...oh wait, yeah maybe in a trailer park they do!"
No. 1 Quality Men Want in a Wife (Personal Articles)
Jul 5th 2008 2:22PM Resentful?? Try and do it for a day...stay home and see how much work it is to care for small children; in a healthy non-neglectful household! We're not talking about sitting on you're @ss all day watching soaps and eating Bon-Bons! Cleaning, managing, and maintaining a "happy well functioning" home is not an easy task...ask any stay at home parent! A majority of my girlfriends (or their husbands!) that went back to work after years of staying home to child-rear said, going back to work was a walk-in-the-park, compared to staying home...at least they got a lunch break at work!

Jun 9th 2008 11:07PM I think there is a BIG difference between good moral judgement and the judgement calls that require plain old common sense; driving a car becomes second nature to most but good moral judgement, like not taking advantage of others, must be instilled in us by our parents, teachers, and preachers. For most of us morality comes with age...usually!

Starbucks might sell $1 cups of coffee (Slashfood)
Feb 9th 2008 12:21AM How many of you think a Starbucks cup in your hand is a status symbol? Have you ever tried Dunkin doughnuts Lattes? They aren't that much cheaper, but they taste pretty darn good. I think I average about $35.00 a week on espresso drinks. Honestly I usually buy from Starbucks, but lately I've felt a little bit guilty about spending so much on a cup of Java being on a fixed budget(being a full time college student I need the pick me up). I know that Starbucks is making a mint on consumers and that is why they can afford to have so many employees. It's great that they hire a large number of workers and even give their part-timers insurance, but that has to be due to their high prices don't you think? I think that when I tip it's out of obligation. But I have noticed a trend lately in many establishments putting out tip jars on counters! Here is a little 411; I tried the McDonalds hazelnut iced coffee...not to bad, try it! But Don't try Burger Kings Mocha Joe, it's like drinking a "chocolate milk shake on speed" plus it has killer calories!
