Jun 2nd 2010 7:44AM In the city where I live I have tried many different hairdressers over the many years we have lived here. I learned that hairdressers don't stay at a job long enough here. The one thing I cannot understand is that I always get a blank stare when I give them the 20% tip, whether or not they have done a good job. I'm about to ask them why they never say thank you and smile. Maybe someone on this comment page can tell me why they look so noncommital. It's not as though I am bald and am asking them to plant hair on my head.
