'White Only' Pool Sign 'Decorative,' Landlord Claims (AOL Real Estate)

Dec 19th 2011 6:56PM That sign may be a "historic symbol", but so is a Swastika, and let me tell you if I see a Swastika anywhere I'm running FAR from that area! What this landlord is doing is beyond embarrassing and disrespectful and she should be replaced immediately. I feel horrible for that teenager and her family. Plus I'm "white", but I don't understand what "white rights" are??

Gwyneth Paltrow Gives Her Take on 'Homosexuality in the Bible' (PopEater)

Jun 10th 2011 1:37PM Reposting:

"The Often Overlooked Rules in Deuteronomy

The book Deuteronomy also lays some laws down, but nobody ever mentions them, but why not take a look at those laws also?

Anyone who dreams or prophesizes anything that is against God, or anyone who tries to turn you from God, is to be put to death. (Deuteronomy 13:5)

If anyone, even your own family suggests worshipping another God, kill them. (Deuteronomy 13:6-10)

If you find out a city worships a different god, destroy the city and kill all of it's inhabitants... even the animals. (Deuteronomy 13:12-15)

Kill anyone with a different religion. (Deuteronomy 17:2-7)

This shows you that it really is scary that people want to make the Bible part of the law. Not to mention it sheds light on why Christians are so overly oppressive to those who don't share their belief. Sick, sick, sick. It can also be said that any person who uses the Bible to justify beating a homosexual, is a hypocrite if he doesn't adhere to all of these laws."

Actress Estella Warren Charged With DUI and Battery of an Officer (PopEater)

Jun 9th 2011 9:24PM Six months in jail for hitting 3 cars, resisting arrest, and attempting to escape?? In Los Angeles nonetheless?? That's a BIG deal, and any regular person would be locked up for at least two years for such an offense. It's a shame that celebrities (even though I have no idea who this person is) continue to mock our legal system.

Delta Air Lines charges returning soldiers for checked bags (Gadling)

Jun 8th 2011 3:30AM This doesn't surprise me at all. I have an AMEX card associated with Delta skymiles, though I've been reconsidering for reasons aside from this (though this certainly adds to my list...) I pay something like $150/year for this card, and Delta charges out the as$ for luggage. The first bag is free for Delta skymiles members, the 2nd is $30something I believe, fine whatever, but 3 bags is $137!! WTF is with that arbitrary number?! Delta shouldn't treat their own loyal customers like that, nor should they treat our men and women in uniform in such a manner. Boo-urns Delta!

Snooki Off the Hook in Italy Fender Bender? (PopEater)

Jun 1st 2011 3:49AM Are you kidding, Drew? God forbid you hit a cop car in LA and then tell SKB that (s)he's overreacting!

Report: Jeff Conaway to Be Taken Off Life Support (PopEater)

May 26th 2011 6:55PM It's a shame that a harmless substance like pot is outlawed but addictive and harmful prescription drugs continue to dominate the market. My condolences go out to his friends and family.

Lady Gaga Talks About Being Bullied at School on 'The View' (Video) (PopEater)

May 23rd 2011 8:35PM This doesn't surprise me. Creative people (artists/musicians) tend to be outcasts in high school. I'm 28 now and I've discovered in recent years that bullying in middle and high school has definitely affected my personality and stage fright. It's mentally healthy to confront those feelings and make beautiful music instead of letting some idiots ruin me. Props to Gaga for showing high school losers who's boss!

Also, another thing I noticed is that the "cool" kids are typically stupid and/or talentless with zero personality, so ultimately there's nothing wrong with being a "loser". :-)

Zach Galifianakis to January Jones: 'Everybody's Going to Forget You' (PopEater)

May 23rd 2011 8:31PM I've seen Zach in many interviews and he's never gone out of his way to insult a celebrity who didn't deserve it. Miss Jones looks/sounds like a humorless c*nt, especially based on what she said.

Also, I've worked at post production studios both in NY and LA, and it's true that the more talented/famous the celebrity, the friendlier (with few exceptions). For example, Jerry Seinfeld and Joaquin Phoenix were always super nice, but Diddy was awful.

Russell Brand Deported from Japan for Criminal Past (PopEater)

May 22nd 2011 10:14PM "It was for priors from over 10 years ago!"

Who taught her English? Sarah Palin?

On another note, ever notice how Russell Brand looks like Charles Manson?
