Kellogg's Lasering Its Logo on Corn Flakes to Protect Against Imitators (Switched)

Oct 14th 2009 11:13AM Putting your logo on a limited run does not prove that Kellogg's only makes cereal for themselves. It just means that they only are spending the money on their own product. Heck, it doesn't even mean that Kellogg's makes their OWN cereal. =)

Facebook and Twitter arrive November 17 on Xbox Live in the UK (Joystiq)

Oct 14th 2009 2:34AM "from Xbox Live" is already starting to show up on tweets.

McAfee now offers unlimited online backup, but you should use Mozy instead (Download Squad)

Oct 3rd 2009 11:23PM It is possible that there will be a retail "boxed" version, which could be discounted as well as other 'offers.'

I agree that for now it just makes more sense to just go with Mozy.

I just wish they had a home network version so you could back up your media server without having to go to the MozyPRO plan which is a bit more expensive.

and, yeah we all got linkz to mozy =P

Netflix concept spurred by $40 VHS late fee -- who knew? (Engadget HD)

Jan 29th 2009 7:46PM For those that want (non-Blu-Ray) DVD B&M rentals, I think RedBox and DVDPlay have a much better concept than BlockBuster.

Go someplace (McDs, WalMart, Grocery Store, etc) rent a movie, pay $1 (+ tax) and return it the next day (by 7pm or 9pm depending on the market)

You don't even have to return them to the same store, just the same brand kiosk.

I think the kiosks can be more of a threat to BlockBuster and HolllywoodVideo than NetFlix.

I am kinda surprised that BlockBuster hasn't converted stores over to kiosks or at least have BlockBuster branded kiosks.
