Credit card banks have eight new ways to hit you with hidden fees (Daily Finance)
Dec 11th 2009 7:47AM Hey Issy, seems to me like Benny was speaking in a pretty informed manner. People need to get some personal responsibility and quit trying to keep up with the Jones'. If you sign a contract then it's your own dumb fault if you get screwed. Read the terms. If you don't like them, don't use the card. That's pretty simple. I'd like to see some of you use the same excuses you use with the credit card companies to try and get out of late fees with your electric company. You would all be sitting in the dark. Course, you really already are. Shame on a CORPORATION to try and make money. I got some news for you dumba@##es, if the banks stop making money due to the stupid "protect the sheep" laws that you shove down your governments throat's, the banks will stop lending money. I guess you'll live within your means then, won't you.
Walletpop round-up: Worst credit cards (WalletPop)
Oct 30th 2009 3:34PM By the way, the minimum payment on credit cards is regulated by federal law. The same laws that you idiots got passed and then complain about the consequences.
Mon Dieu! Credit card issuers broadening foreign transaction fees (WalletPop)
May 14th 2009 4:09PM It's absolutely amazing. You retards complain and complain until you get the government to pass a new law effecting the credit card companies. The credit card companies have to then put a blurb in their terms and conditions regarding that law. Then when the terms and conditions get so large that you don't want to read them anymore, you complain that they are too hard to follow and ask for even more laws. What do you want, someone to read the agreement for you before you sign. I know you want someone to pay the bill for you, you're probably all on welfare... Of course, we can't refuse to give you a credit card when you apply if you ARE on welfare, because that would be discrimination. Jeez, get a job people, and take some responsibility. Quit calling in and complaining every time you get hit with a late fee or a huge finance charge. Here's an idea: read the terms and conditions, and then follow along with what YOU agreed to.

Barbie Banned in West Virginia? (ParentDish)
Mar 5th 2009 7:58AM Yeah, Bratz filled a niche....The "Lets dress our kids like little sluts earlier and earlier" niche. This is precisely the reason why young girls now think that when a guy says hello, they are supposed to drop to their backs and spread their legs.
Citigroup Banks Fall for $27 Million Nigerian Scam (Switched)
Feb 23rd 2009 4:12PM I guess you shouldn't have signed that LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT, since you were obviously planning on making late payments. How many delinquent credit cards do you have? You're probably more of the problem than the bank is.
Citigroup Banks Fall for $27 Million Nigerian Scam (Switched)
Feb 23rd 2009 4:04PM As an employee of Citibank, I can ensure you that we can, and do, record every call. The representative telling you that we can't, or didn't, is an indication to me that you were probably being one of "those" customers. You know, the ones that ask you to do things either illegal or just plain stupid. These are the customers that call in and say "Why did I get a late fee, I don't deserve this" Well, you got a late fee because you were (drum roll please)...LATE. These are the customers that we all laugh about at break time. These are the CUSTOMERS that have caused this financial meltdown that we are in. If all of our, and every other banks, deadbeat customers would just pay their delinquent accounts, we wouldn't need any of the taxpayers money. The taxpayers should stop being mad at the banks and start being mad at their friends that brag if they are late on a payment to the credit card company.
And by the way, I'm in the fraud department, and it looks as though the perpetrators in the article above were CAUGHT. This was probably a sting operation undertaken by the bank in association with local authorities. It happens all the time folks. Can't prosecute them if they don't pick up the money.
Canadian man wins $14 million in lottery and he's not surprised (WalletPop)
Jan 29th 2009 10:50AM This is absurd. Lets get a few things straight, Zac. First, come up with a better pen name. Second, your writing for "Wallet Pop", for Christ's sake, not a serious journalistic venture by any means. When I am expecting to read a light-hearted essay about the unwarranted generosity of the indomitable human spirit, I don't want boring political/social drivel about the ills of a capitalist society thrown in with it. I'm sure you protested loudly enough when your editor gave you the story to do. YOU LOST. Your editor should have either never published the story, or fired you for insubordination. The article comes off as trashy and inconsiderate.
