Jul 16th 2010 3:24PM My dad, who knew GS back in Bay Village, always told me that many mean people in history had families who loved them and friends who would support them because of the power and money they had. Just because there are people who will say nice things about something doesn't make them nice. GS was an a-hole! Everyone knows it. And from what we know about the fruit not falling far from the tree - Hank is the same a-hole his dad was. Guess GS was wrong when he said, "I don't get heart attacks - I give them!" Spaceman spoke from HIS experience which is JUST as valid as those that say that he was a great guy! I believe that he was more of an a-hole than a great guy. Similar to Teddy Kennedy who was another a-hole who was glorified after his death because so many people fed from his wallet.

Most people agree with Gilbert's emotional statements since they identify with them. However, like most thing - people who have critical thinking skills don't really care about LeBoob when there are more important issues to worry about - Iranian nuclear capability, being attacked (8 years of GWB produced NO attacks domestically - 18 months of BHO and we have over 5 with many dead.)

Jun 15th 2010 6:52AM I cheated on my wife when she stopped wanting sex ten years into our marriage and 3 kids. I was in decent shape and so was she. I was still attracted to her, but she said she didn't like sex anymore and didn't enjoy kissing (my favorite thing). I found someone who did like those things. Still loved my wife - still loved being married - but I wanted the closeness and intimacy, too. When she found out she divorced me telling me I was scum. In my mind I rationalized that I was simply replacing one aspect of the entire marriage. I ONLY regret the pain the divorce caused my kids. We are still working on those issues, but moving forward. She got remarried and lasted 2 years before leaving him. I have been remarried 10 years happily because my wife enjoys the closeness, too. What did I learn? Just get divorced if your wife holds back intimacy! Don't cheat because, in the end, the pain is much worse then simply leaving.
