Jun 11th 2008 11:26AM Horrible suggestion. I agree with the other person who replied to you -- leave the weaponry to the police. Pepper spray can be used against you, also, just like any other weapon you carry for "self-defense." I'd rather not put myself in that position, thank you very much. And how can you say that pepper spray or one of those little hand-held shock thingees would be called for in this situation?! Ridiculous.

Jun 11th 2008 11:15AM It's my firm belief that 2 mediocre to average looking people make the most attractive babies. My daughter is the best example. I have a healthy self-esteem, don't get me wrong, but I'm not in denial either.

My theory makes me worry a little bit about Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, and especially the new arrival from Cash Warren and Jessica Alba. Really gorgeous parents often equals kinda ugly offspring. I don't have any scientific research to back that up, mind you. LOL.

Nov 9th 2007 8:17PM Personally, I am laughing at the person who compared the process of arguing against the existence of God with a religious person to the cruelty of telling a child there is no Santa. It's that attitude that I find to be most offensive -- and unfortunately, the most pervasive -- among most of the athiests I meet. It's sad that there can't be mutual respect among people of different beliefs....and I also wonder why Christianity is at the brunt of such derision, for it is not the only religion espousing the existance of God, or gods, for that matter. Sheesh! Even the Lord God of the Old Testament acknowledges other gods, by saying the very sentence, "Thou shall have no other gods before me."

Regardless, I hate that my intellect is immediately called into question because the cornerstone of my personal philosophy is not the same as the cornerstone of another's. At least a cornerstone exists, and to me, that is better than any sort of rudderless existence, whether one is steering for God or Science or, in my case, a healthy bit of both.

Oct 27th 2007 9:03PM This whole situation is just so, so sad. Why now? What drives this man to release the video now?! Noone is innocent here, among the adults, anyway, as another poster has stated. I think the noblest and most respectful thing to do is to let Anna Nicole rest in peace, if not for anything else, but for the sake of her child, who at one point will grow up and see this video. Who would rejoice in such thing?

Just sad.

Oct 17th 2007 6:37PM I, too, think the blogger is taking this whole thing a little too seriously. There is nothing wrong with encouraging a woman to make an effort to look sexy for her husband. Besides that, Victoria Secret makes ME feel sexy, and when I FEEL sexy, I think that in and of itself makes you exude a certain allure. And my husband likes it. I had a female minister once who extolled the virtues of thongs. I like that this opens the door on discussion and makes it clear that being a Christian doesn't mean you don't have fun with sex.

There aren't NEARLY enough parents who would take the time or even THINK of taking their kids to the library to research something. I think she's got the right idea, she's just a little...off.
