Verizon Guy Drills Hole Into Wedding Dress During FiOS Installation (Switched)
Apr 19th 2009 1:38AM Well, my FiOS Install experience was no better. I too had holes drilled through my utility box into my bedroom closet.
Oh yeah, it also took about 10 hours, and due to a misappropriation in their asset tracking system, my box never got registered to my subscription properly, requiring a 60 minute call to fix each time. (Happened 4 times before I cancelled.) Did I mention that because I didn't have a landline, 15 minutes of that time was taken up locating my customer account?
Superior technical offering, with terrible, terrible, terrible customer service.

Thoughts on the Republican National Convention - VIDEOS (AOL TV)
Sep 5th 2008 1:18PM Great convention. Probably could have been rolled into just 2 days, versus 3, but I guess it could've been 4, so I'm not complaining too much.
Tucker Bounds is terrible, and should be fired. Come on, so many ways to respond to Brown, yet he keeps babbling the same indirect response.
Palin, FTW!
Knight Rider: the car is nice, the movie is meh - VIDEO (AOL TV)
Feb 18th 2008 1:49PM Was this story written by monkeys during the WGA strike?
Seriously. Graiman had no reason to tell the rescue team to call the stupid FBI Agent. He even acknowledged it was dangerous, asking that they talk only to her. (Yet they allow her to talk on speakerphone.)
Hole #2. Why does KITT even need to pick up Traceur before turning itself into the FBI, per it's discussion regarding it's programming?
This must have been a rejected plot that they figured they could produce to make some cash during the strike. A 2 hour Ford commercial. Admittedly, the car was hot!
Esquire picks the best sandwiches in America (Slashfood)
Feb 14th 2008 12:02AM Cycling in and out of McD's without rhyme or reason, the McRib sandwich is the hot, abusive girlfriend I never had.
Consider a patty of fatty pork without the bone to slow you down. Add a smattering of chopped onions, a few pickles, and savory sauce. A guilty pleasure for sure. A one hot sandwich.
I'd buy you one personally, Ms. Gim, for your reconsideration.
NBC post-strike: some series return soon, Chuck, Life, Heroes return in the fall (AOL TV)
Feb 13th 2008 11:45PM Ditto the Journeyman sentiments. Though the subject matter might not be as interesting, I think the show's writing trumps Chuck, Heroes, and Life. I will miss thee Journeyman.
Eli Stone: Pilot (series premiere) (AOL TV)
Feb 2nd 2008 2:17AM I saw about 10 minutes before I got tired of the cheese. Does anyone feel like this was a bizzaro version of Journeyman, where time travel is replaced by visions and good writing replaced by the wierd glaze that ABC seems to coat there shows with. I can't quite explain what I mean by "the glaze," but ABC shows always seem to have some quality that just hums along and screams, this is a TV show and not reality. (Every show but Lost that is.)

First Picture from Pixar's 'Up!' (Cinematical)
Jan 29th 2008 6:14PM Hey, while I enjoy Pixar films, I haven't found one with a story that hasn't been totally derivative or totally predictable in some form or fashion. I can understand why one might get "bored" of a Pixar film, especially if Pixar's art style does nothing for you. Just my two cents.
