Jun 6th 2011 2:29PM I went to a FLA school to attend 6th grade, back in the day. We said the Pledge of Allegiance, the Lord's Prayer, and used Yes/No Ma'am/Sir without hesitation. Our parents ALL knew that if a child got out of line, they would be on the receiving end of a predetermined number of swats on the rear from someone at school. The parents of these children that allow them to pursue their punk-ish attitude are the ones who are really at fault, not the teacher. She had someone in her face and reacted to it. Was she supposed to wait til she got punched first? or worse? Give the power back to the people that are working to educate your children, not the people that could care little about themselves (least of all your child's education).

Feb 17th 2010 11:55AM My mistake on the spelling of Branford Marsalis.
The report was the reason HE left the Tonight Show was that he was tired of being paid to laugh at stupid jokes on cue. He felt if the joke was funny and deserved a laugh then he would, but to be told to laugh and when by his boss (Leno) got to be too much. Time to pursue his passion in music, elsewhere.

Jan 8th 2009 5:55PM DOS was far better than those grueling holarith punch cards that we had to feed into the Sperry/Univac 90-30, or trying to program an 8080 microprocessor just to get some kind of output. Thank goodness for the GUI (graphical user interface), not to mention the invention of the mouse. Those were the days.

Jan 8th 2009 2:45PM I agree!! I loved XP. Had to buy a new PC and got stuck with Vista as my OS. Was disappointed to think that it was going to be an upgrade. At times I think I could get around using the old 3.1 version than Vista. Give us XP!!!!

Dec 13th 2008 1:37PM I would think that out of the first half there may have been those that just chose to not have sex due to convictions. Then the other half half of women could have been broken up into smaller groups. The largest of these groups being those who are not being satisfied with the ho-hum routine of the same old "my guy gets satisfied and rolls over" bit. At age 57, I still make it my priority to satisfy my loving wife however long it may take, and as many times that I can. The rewards in a relationship by far are greater in the long run. This subject always tend to focus on women and there wants and needs. Then reverting to the man's desires. MEN do not forget that in a relationship...the world does not revolve around you!! In any situation in life, this holds true for everyone.
