Apr 6th 2012 10:35PM I totally agree with Barbara as far as undercutting your neighbor on price but when it comes to short sales and bankrupt properties, one cannot compete. I cannot sell my $278,000 property for the comparables, bankrupt or short sale property down the street that's now selling for $82,500. I decided to take my property off the market and hope the housing market recovers before I'm pushing up daiseys. many of us are at an age that we no longer have the time to wait for the economy to recover.

Mar 30th 2012 4:22PM Condo Bylaws trumps any religous law. HOA Bylaws can be very, very powerful, To change a Bylaw requires usually over 75% vote in favor of changing that particular Bylaw by the home owners. Every owner gets one vote per home. At least 75% of the owners have to vote for or against. All votes have to be returned because any vote not retured is considered a "no" vote. Check your BYLAWS and CC&Rs.
