Kevin Spacey (Sort of) Addresses Gay Rumors in Interview (PopEater)

Dec 17th 2010 6:32AM Even though I do not condone homosexuality I applaud Kevin Spacey's insisting on his privacy regarding sexual preference. Too many tabloid stars flaunt their escapades. Would it make him a better or worse actor if he was or was not gay? No. I would not ask my boss nor my coworkers their sexual orientation (nor do I care to hear about their sexual encounters), so why must we insist on hearing all the details from the stars? Kudos to Kevin.

Confessions of a Census Worker (AOL Jobs)

May 29th 2010 8:38AM We were "threatened" by our census taker with fines and jail time when we told him we had not yet filled out our form. Government in action!

Desperate moves: Consumers' belongings held hostage by moving companies (WalletPop)

Jan 17th 2010 1:26PM That is all well and good but some folks don't do it out of greed, they do it out of necessity (and maybe a little naivety). A lot of people do not have the funds to pay a high price for anything, including a long distance move -- and in today's economy this is especially true. They also believe that since they would not "dirty deal" people, others wouldn't "dirty deal" them. Yes, there will always be those that are greedy but there are those with mouths to feed, a promise of a new job opportunity in another state and lack of funds. Don't stereotype. Try to see both sides of the issue.

US Airways Wouldn't Like Me When I'm Angry (Gadling)

Nov 25th 2008 6:44AM To the person that said that "she wasn't out of control until the airline personnel angered her", you don't know mentally ill people very well. I live with one whom I love dearly, but it is so very easy to "frustrate" and "anger" them quickly and with no provocation -- only what is in their mind. I would NEVER want him to fly alone if he wasn't on medication, even then I'd feel much more comfortable if one of us went with him. So, I have to disagree with you. It was the family's responsibility to go with her and they are to fault. They could have prevented the airline personnel from reacting the way they did -- believe me, I have dealt with a myriad of authority figures in regard to my son and if someone is there to explain, 99% of them are so helpful instead of harmful -- police, nurses, doctors, DMV workers, etc.
