Powell to Endorse Obama at Convention? (Politics Daily)

Aug 14th 2008 12:00PM Hey, how about a McCAIN/POWELL "super ticket"?? That sounds almost as attractive as my favorite suggestion: McCAIN/CLINTON!!

Chick-fil-A founder goes easy on vandals (ParentDish)

Aug 4th 2008 7:57AM Cathy's "Chick-fil-A" outlets appear to have all been carefully placed so their sanctimonious "Closed on Sundays" policy will stand out in sharp contrast with their neighbors at the mall once each week. I've always found that highly obnoxious, and I don't care if the food they serve the rest of the week is considered delicious or not! Those "Closed" locations every Sunday are a jolting reminder that somebody in this company, apparently Cathy, considers me a "sinner" because I'm out shopping on "The Lord's Day". Well, bite me, Chick-fil-A! I wouldn't eat your damned chicken any day at all if I'm not good enough for you to serve me on a Sunday!

Wal-Mart Worried Obama Will Win (Politics Daily)

Aug 1st 2008 7:46PM OK. all you Republicans: Here's your "Dream Ticket": McCain/Clinton '08!! Hell, as a Yale freshman Hillary joined the Young Republicans! Go for it! Even I would vote for that ticket! (And it's just about the ONLY way you guys might ever defeat Barack Obama!)

New Battleground Numbers (Politics Daily)

Jul 31st 2008 11:36AM There's been much talk about who the candidates might choose as their running mates, both of them hoping to craft a "dream ticket" which would leave their opponents in the dust of their victory in Nov. OK, here's the ideal "dream ticket" if the GOP was only smart enough to see it: McCain/Clinton '08!! Hell, even I would likely vote for that ticket! Both presumptive nominees have mentioned members of the other party on their lists of possibilities so why not? She spent most of the year running against Obama so why not just continue?? (Don't look for this but isn't it tantalizing??) ;-)

Babs on Obama (Politics Daily)

Jul 29th 2008 12:15PM "Who cares?" The question needs to be asked about all the right-wing fanatics who have responded to this story. A hell of a lot of people care DEEPLY about this election and the dilemma it presents to supporters of Hillary Clinton! Barbra (check your spelling, Bushies!) sang, I think, at one of Bill Clinton's Inaugural parties and thereby became linked with the Clintons in many voters' minds. Her support for Barack Obama at this crucial juncture carries a symbolic wallop for those of us still healing from the bruising primaries. Thanks, Babs, and yes, Go Obama!

Nipplegate...The Battle Rages On (News Campus Blog)

Jul 24th 2008 4:23PM Megan Baker asks: "Will nudity on television become more accepted?" Well, I certainly HOPE SO! Our society's fixation with our bodies, that is with making sure we don't display our bodies in almost any circumstances, is puerile and ultimately futile. For heaven's sakes, it wasn't even a completely bare breast, as I recall! She had some kind of metallic covering (or perhaps highlighting?) her nipple. But who cares? Were viewers "shocked" to learn that she HAD a nipple?? I doubt it! Well, since God placed it there, why shouldn't we be able to see it?? Infantile right-wing fraudulent government (remember 2000!!) acting on its own fascistic social agenda! Get over it! Not just that telecast, the whole idea of nudity!!

FOX News Doctors NY Times Photos (Politics Daily)

Jul 3rd 2008 11:05AM Well, a photo isn't the same as reality, and journalists have long recognized that anybody can have a bad picture taken, so "touching up" news photos is an old accepted practice. But it's usually done to IMPROVE the subjects' appearance, or at least to correct the usual kinds of image distortions that can crop up in a news photo. But this "touch up" job is just bizarre! It's like the kind of grafitti "bad kids" used to play on pictures of the school principal in the school paper. I'm almost surprised they didn't give these guys "horns" and missing teeth! Fox News is evidently a total "crock" as knowlegable watchers have said for years, but this is just insulting to all concerned!

Missing Her Already (Politics Daily)

Jun 9th 2008 12:48AM "But it's clear that John McCain and Hillary Clinton respect each other -- and there is a genuine affection for her here at McCain HQ."

OMG! Is this the trial balloon for November's true "Dream Ticket"?? McCain/Clinton??? Hell, I'd vote for that in a second!

Hot Seat: Sympathy for Clinton? (Politics Daily)

"Hillary Clinton would be to Obama what Marc Anthony was to Julius Ceasear. A BACKSTABBER!!!"

Mark Anthony was no backstabber, idiot! He DEFENDED Julius Caesar (please check your spelling!) after his assassination in 44 BCE, and was instrumental in the capture and punishment of the band of conspirators who actually DID stab Caesar to death on the Ides of March! Whatever else he may have been, Anthony was a loyal and true ally! BHO should be so lucky!!

Hillary Can Handle the Hard Stuff (Politics Daily)

May 30th 2008 2:16PM Dream on, "Bloggers"! I along with a stunning majority of Clinton supporters will NEVER vote for Obama if Hillary is robbed of the Democratic nomination! Remember 1968? Remember 1980?? The Republicans did NOT win those elections. No, the Democrats voted down their own nominee, an incumbant Vice-President and an incumbant President! That's the only way (short of outright THEFT!) the GOP can win the White House, and it looks like it could be happening again! GO HILLARY '08!!!
