Jun 6th 2011 2:48PM The kid got a shock - probably for the first time in his life - the "smallest target" is not necessarily a victim. She fought back and I congratulate her. Well done! On the other hand, I'd like to see criminal charges brought against the kid. He's a "big bad" in a small pond called High School. Let a judge explain he consequences of assault, battery, and menacing in the "honest" eyes of the law. Of course, that would depend on finding a Judge who was actually interested in stopping a "big bad wannabe" in his tracks before he goes too far. One can only hope...
May 25th 2011 3:33PM No one can say they didn't know Arnold before the Governor's Mansion - he never denied the allegation before the election and if Maria is truly behind the "leak strategy," then she is no better than he is. I get the feeling that the estrangement has been going on long before the big announcement. They were both just a little TOO focused on public image. The only innocent parties in this fiasco are the children - leave them in peace - ALL of them.
Jul 28th 2010 3:38PM Good one...too bad she's sees nothing but herself.
Jul 18th 2010 2:20AM ...and don't forget the flakes - American justice: the best money can buy.
Jul 14th 2010 4:30PM Why aren't you pursuing the woman?? That's no cougar - that's a sexual predator taking advantage of a child in a closed space. Unless there is a question of credibility and someone wants to "pony" up to Southwest's ATM - figuring they'll settle to make it go away.
Jul 12th 2010 5:12PM I am so sick of this arrogant little twerp! The only reason I read the article was the headline caught my eye. I knew this would happen eventually - she is better than all of us and above the law. Not that my money alone will make a difference, but I will not spend a dime on anything that carries her name, her mark, or even her scent. And if a whole bunch of us lowly earth dwellers kept our money out of her pockets, she'd have a whole lot less to throw at her fancy, expensive lawyer. I hope the judge ups the sentence.
Jul 1st 2010 1:50PM Now that is valid outrage - if he had so much debt, why did the keep lending? It is really frustrating that if any of us fall behind, the door on our futures is slammed, locked, and the key is thrown away. $9000 dollars for a water bill? I got calls one month for a $95 water bill that got put in the wrong slot of my desk - an oversight with no prior history of late payment - SLAM! Can't sing or dance - guess I am out of luck. $300 million loan? 1/2% of that would let me pay off my bills, put a decent downpayment on a house AND put money in the bank.
Jun 28th 2010 8:11PM You go, guy!! And if imitation is the sincerest for of flattery, you've got some apprentices waiting in the wings. Now THAT'S reality entertainment! And everyone seems to be having a great time...
Jun 28th 2010 8:04PM I want reality - I watch the news. I used to watch TV for entertaiment - to forget my problems for a little while. Now I am supposed to find entertainment in other people's problems? Nice editorial on the state of our species. Like "mis-speak" is the new political-speak for "lie," "reality TV star" is Hollywood speak for "seriously screwed up, self absorbed exhbitionist wth no real talent."
Jun 24th 2010 11:46AM A woman's empowerment should not result from strutting around just short of naked. Those actions just enforce the archaic stereotype that a woman's only value is her body. And I absolutely agree with with those who are saying that "Miley, you haven't a clue." You want to empower? I suggest you consider just how fickle the entertainment industry is, get your backside to college and develop your mind. (You certainly can afford college better than I can.) Make sure you have a life after this one.
